I purchased a size 8 which is what I wear in women's adidas running shoes. They still have room in the toe box and are a good fit for my narrow feet. I wore these traveling and found them to be good airport shoes (easy on and off through check points). They have some weight to them from the leather which took some getting used to. But, overall they look great and were very comfortable. I wore them with thin compression socks (to fly) and then with thin non-socks and both worked very well. It's a bit disheartening to see the way Amazon often handles your packages, and here when you buy a big brand item, especially shoes, you expect them in their box. They came in a plastic bag, sort of vulgar. In addition to the fact that it took more than 2 days for the delivery despite the fact that I have a prime subscription, I live downtown of a big city with an Amazon warehouse close-by, I should have simply gone to a store to get them in their box without waiting. Now I did chat with customer service who guaranteed I had a brand new item, it wasn't a return, just an accident. Fine, and they gave me a 20% discount which I appreciate because I did not want to sent them back when they fit me and I like them and I waited! Onto the shoes themselves, I finally caved, they are so soft and comfortable, do size down a bit. I'm in-between a 6 and 7, or 37-38 in Europe, I went with a 6 (or 37 EU) and they fit nicely and I did read that they loosen quite a lot with time. However, because the shoe is made of structured,rigid material, it way not be wide foot or bunion friendly until broken in Support - the footbed is padded, comfortable and supportive throughout with plenty of toe space Fit - I read several reviews and decided to go a half size down, they still fit well without being overly tight in certain areas Style - retro but timeless, the gold detail elevates any outfit, perfect for travel because they're lightweight Cons - Stan's great face is a little bigger than I expected, but depending on how you wear the sneakers, the tongue can be camouflaged a little with the laces ... show more

    • A good style for larger sized feet
I got these sneakers for fashion wear because I like the retro appearance. I like the way that the lacing comes down very close to the toe, even in size 10. (Size 10 fits like 10.5, which was great for me. 10.5 can be hard to find!) Some sneakers that look cute in a size 7 have too much blank length between the end of the laces and the toe when they are sized up to a 10, making a foot look even longer than it is. (If you wear a larger size, I bet you know what I mean.) Not the case here! The toe area is a bit bulbous, and very, very white, so I can see just a tiny bit the reason another reviewer called these clown shoes. However, I was reassured by photo reviews that show what the shoe looks like with a little wear on it. ... show more
