Certain colors of these are more comfortable than others. I bought the white with dash green. Very comfortable out of the box. I bought them in size 9 which is my usual size in sneakers. They are a little loose but still work for my flat feet. The tongue is like a pillow and never bothers me. But a month later, I bought a pair that is black with a gold emblem (half of it) on the back and a white sole. Those were not as soft as the white ones. And the tongue is very stiff, almost sharp on the edges, with none of the padding of the white version. Look at the pictures of the styles/colors to see if the tongue looks thick from top to bottom. If not, the tongue may irritate your ankle. This four star review is for the white ones. They are almost perfect. I’ll be returning the black ones. ... show more

I absolutely love these shoes. Hadn't had them in many many years and was so pleased with how comfortable they are. I walk all day in them and they look nice enough to wear with a sundress in the summer. Had to go down a half size. Highly recommend.
