These shoes were just what I was wanting! I picked these out as my Christmas gift from my husband and they go great with black pants. They are a little bit nicer than tennis shoes and the shell toe is a nice touch. I wore shell toes for years in all styles, but this is my first pair in several years. I missed them so! The leather is smooth and feels of nice quality. The contrast stitching is striking and I don't feel like these are styled directly to men. In fact, I'd say these shoes are more feminine than most shell toes. I'm so pleased with these shoes, I think I might buy another pair for when these wear out! LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes. I wear a women's 8.5 and ordered a men's 7. With a wide foot, the generous toe box is very comfortable. I can walk all day in these without any regrets! The retro look is a classic and I get compliments on them every time I wear them!
