This is one of my favorites in terms of aesthetics (I bought the holographic ones with the rhinestones on the back). The purple has a green shift. They are especially beautiful under low-light, because the little bit of light definitely makes the rhinestones sparkle. Some people say they run big, and they might. I have wider feet and feet that swell if you just look at them the wrong way, but I have never had a problem fitting them. Since I have no problems with the fit, regardless of what my feet are doing, they may run a little big, but I don't find them to be dramatic. The shoe is a firmer, more structured material, but not uncomfortably so. I seem to have good luck with the Stan Smith line and will buy more in the future, especially the metallic ones.

I really wanted black sneaks for a while and I just like the label in the back, The patent leather is a little more dressy and easy to clean. In recent years I've kind of gotten into sneaks. I like lots of colors, styles and more for style and comfort than running, walking sports... oh well what can I say... For the price and comfort - I will buy more. One thing - the laces stay put...do not untie by themselves.. That is a BIG positive. It's a super nice looking shoe.. go for it... you won't be disappointed.

I'm really like these shoes. Some previous reviews said they were fake, in my opinion they aren't. They do indeed fit a but large, I'd say half a size larger. I got a 6 like I always do and you can see the extra room I have on the hill. Also, see the shoe in comparison to a vans one that is also a size 6. I can get away with wearing a pair of tick socks and make them work, the rest of the shoe is pretty snug it is just too long I guess. I would recommend you get them half a size smaller.

I was so excited when my ADIDAS STAN SMITHS arrived.! The shoes I ordered were LEATHER STAN SMITHS but I received VINYL/PLASTIC STAN SMITHS. I tried them on & realized the long flap/tongue DUG into my lower leg because it was way too long, and because, I discovered it was VINYL/PLASTIC. It didn’t give or bend as leather would. AMAZON photos of the STAN SMITHS show inconsistencies with the flap/tongue: some long & some short. It appears that STAN SMITHS are advertised VINYL/PLASTIC and some as GENUINE LEATHER! I am extremely disappointed in my purchase, especially after reading rave reviews of this particular style, STAN SMITH. ADIDAS are marketing their (cheapskate) change from LEATHER TO VINYL/PLASTIC, as a feature! (Hello FOOT FUNGUS) The AMAZON description of the shoe I ordered was “GENUINE LEATHER.” I would not have paid $80.00 for VINYL/PLASTIC! This is very sneaky, switching from LEATHER to VINYL & then advertising it as a feature! ADIDAS’ profits must have, at least, tripled with this substitution, but are they donating their extra profits to GREENPEACE? Doubtful. Why not pass the savings to the customer? I am curious about one thing; I recently read Princess Kate wears ADIDAS STAN SMITHS. Are her’s made of VINYL/PLASTIC? I don’t know for certain, but I seriously doubt it! I am giving you one star because I cannot, technically, give you no stars; but if I could, I would. BOO ADIDAS. PLEATHER, VINYL, PLASTIC is not healthy on your feet!

I love these shoes. There is no arch support (at least for me) so it took a hot minute for me to get used to them. Without arch support I e d up feeling like I have shin splints. So I placed some arch supports in the shoes and now they are perfect. They go with everything. Typically I find adidas to run big so I take a half a size off. I also think they sometimes run wide. I purchased a 7.5 maybe could've went down to a 7 but these were still really comfortable and didn't feel too big. They also didn't feel super wide but since they are more casual shoes vs athletic shoes I don't think that this mattered as much to me. Worr these around Disney World for a week with no problems. Love them.
