These shoes have been better than expected as skateboarding shoes. My teen does not wear them to school, errands, etc. They serve their purpose and hold up VERY well to skateboarding. I definitely will say that they have so far held up better than any of his previous Vans board shoes. I will post a photo soon to show wear (what little there is!). I like the style and look. They felt like I was wearing Converse. I ordered size 13 received size 12.5. I ordered the same shoes for my wife in men’s it was at least $20.00 cheaper. So shop around.
