These are ok for the money. For a trail running shoe, she should have a more aggressive tread. After about a week, not running, but 10-15 miles of regular walking, they developed a squeak. It's both shoes and it's not the sole, they make the same noise on carpet, grass, concrete or tile. I was hoping for a slightly less ideal, even less durable version of a Solomon speed cross, but in that regard they are a disappointment. Again, not expecting the same anything as a $140 shoe but these are still not what I was hoping for. ... show more

I bought two of these shoes (same size) in different colors, one in tan and one in black - For some odd reason the tan versions are much more comfortable, more "cushy" and spacious feeling than the black ones...? So order the tan ones!

Never in my entire life have I worn a pair of shoes that are as rigid, uncomfortable, unforgiving, and just all around terrible as these are. They do not have any cushion to them. It feels like I'm standing on a rock. Any real activity from me in these shoes ends up with me in considerable pain. And I am not putting that last part lightly. They *REALLY HURT* to wear and walk around in. I am unfortunately going to have to cut my losses and pitch these. I need to get another pair of shoes. I've been wearing Adidas shoes for over 30 years and I've never had anything close to this problem. I am very let down. ... show more
