I got these to replace my sons older cleats that he grew out of. Those cleats were Nike. He said he really likes these. The way that the inner portion is, it's almost like a sock around the ankle and is stretchy, it conforms to your foot even without the laces. It does make it a little harder to get on initially. The size runs a little small. We read other similar reviews and went up half a size. The sole of these shoes is designed to be stiff. They do not bend. But they are very light. Beware- those spikes are sharp! He has only had these for a short time but so far they have held up through practices and one game. And they did not have a long time for wearing in. I had him wear them around the house for a few hours prior to his first practice to see if there were any 'hot spots'- but it worked well for him. ... show more

Perfect fit. We got these for my daughter who is a size 8.5 in women so we were surprised how perfect they fit being a men shoe. We highly suggest breaking them in before game day. 10/10 would buy again.
