Unlike cleats from other companies these adidas have little to no protection on the toe box. Because the laces don’t come very far down into the toe box you can not tighten the shoe down past mid foot leaving a toe box that’s loose and non protective. This is a soccer cleat trying to be a football cleat and is not good for a skill position player. May be good for a kicker/punter but that’s about it.

This is the 4th pair of these we have bought over the seasons.My son is a HS QB and plays year round. These are well made and have good traction, light weight and fit great. they seem to last a long time but once they start to go, they go quick. We usually get a season and a little more out of them but we play in a lot of rain, which shortens the life of all shoes. We bought a shoe dryer this year and it has really helped with these. overall we will continue to get these.

My son got these fro Pop Warner football games and he loves them. Third pair he's had. He didn't want to get rid of his last pair even though they were a size and a half too small because he loves them so much. Slip-on sock design means there's no tongue adjustments. Low profile design and lightweight build make these perfect for speed play and low fatigue. Definitely worth the investment

My son loved these cleats at first but after 3 weeks of practice and only 1 scrimmage, the strap on the front broke and the elastic started to fray. Very frustrating, with the amount of money that is spent on gear each year, to have to replace them before the season even starts. My son loves Adidas and Nike shoes but has always used Nike cleats. This is our first year using Adidas cleats and likely our last. Disappointing quality. Unfortunately the return/exchange date has passed since I ordered them a few weeks before the season started.

After your child can finally get their foot in the cleat, it's a great fit. The way the shoe is designed extremely tight around the ankle, it's very difficult to get a foot in. After the foot is in, you almost do not need shoelaces due to how tight the foot is. The cleat is not too small in length or width for my child, but as I said, getting the foot into the shoe is the most difficult part. This is probably why you see others with posts of the pull "tab" broken after short use (yes, we loosen the shoe laces quite a bit first before trying). If it weren't for this issue, I would give it five stars.

My son needed new cleats for lacrosse. Unfortunately our sports stores don't carry a very great selection of Lacrosse specific and because it is spring, the selection of football cleats was slim as well. He found these cleats online and of course Amazon came through with a great price and prompt delivery. The cleats are well made and fit like a sock, so there is no tongue that moves around. He wears a 10 1/2 in Nike and needed the same with Adidas. Great purchase!

My son wears a regular width shoe. He could not even get his foot all they way in because the opening was so narrow. Had to return. Also, it was way more purple than the pictures showed. Just keep that in mind. Even if they fit, we would have returned since they were so purple.
