This is probably about the 6th pair of Adidas Gazelle's I've bought over the years, and they've always been comfortable quite durable. I had to have a pair the first time I saw them as a teenager, and thankfully they've always fit well. I like the relatively thin sole by modern standards and leather uppers that mold to your feet after several wearings. I can tell the manufacturing has changed a bit over the years, but the general look and feel has remained consistent. They've been a great casual fashion shoe that's good around town or for short walks. I wouldn't recommend them as a daily fitness shoe, there are more current designs that work better for that. ... show more

I've been hunting for my first pair of Adidas. Tried the new ultraboost lights, some nizza high tops, and finally these. I had major issues with the ultraboost and the nizza. Both were incredibly uncomfortable and in need of a long breaking in period, so both got returned. These fit perfect straight out the box. Very comfortable, easy to pre-lace and slip in and out of even more so than my chuck taylors. The red suede upper looks really good in person.     • Solution to squeaking sound:

So, overall i really liked the shoes. They are classic and go well with everything. Only negative points to consider: - They could be more comfortable. I used to have the Vans Old Skool comfycush and they were way more comfortable. -the part in the back hurts a little my ankles if i use short or no-show socks. -the tongue is made from a plastic material and when you move it does a annoying skeaking sound. Luckily i solved the problem applying vaseline to the tongue (on the outside part). That makes de tongue slide and it doesnt make any sound anymore. Other thank these, great shoes. ... show more

They're just as they look in the picnice and soft with an expensive look. I got a bargain on these. Nice and comfy. They run big so 8 had to order a half smaller the only downside fir me is the skinny shoe laces. I need a fatter lace especially for THESE CLASSIC adidas. If you're looking for something new to try that is different from plain white sneakers to elevate your look, these Gazelles are the way to go. The fit in very comfortable, but a bit more of a tighter fit than the grand court, so maybe size up a touch if you like looser fitting shoes. The maroon suede is such a unique a beautiful color that looks great with denim. I don't have trouble walking all day in these shoes, and get complimented every time I wear them.
