The Terrex Soulstride met my expectations of comfort (wide toe box), support (I have high arches) and coolness (mesh fabric keeps my feet comfortable). I'm concerned a little about durability, as I've observed noticeable wear of the tread on the sole after about 3 months of wear. That said, I've been wearing them everywhere. I like them enough that I bought a second pair as a backup.

I hike/walk these days. I had thought that I would stick with the Adidas AX style trail hiking shoes I've had, but I just returned a new pair of AX2s because the toe box on those are just too cramped. These trail runners are better up front and down below have a sole design that is more stable because they flare out, especially around the heel area. I rolled my ankle more often on trails with the AX versions I've had. The AX hiking shoes are also more jolting, while these are nice and cushy. The one downside, the soles rubber is soft and wears rather quickly if you have to run/walk some paved roads to get to the trail. That said, the rest of the shoe is very durable. My tread worn pair is still fine otherwise, even after many twig pokes and rock scrapes. Also, once the tread wears down, they are still fine for street use. I'm saving my old pair for times when I will just be walking paved roads and don't need knobs.

Pretty decent for a running shoe, good for hiking. The heel is a little too high for me and keeps rubbing against my achilles. Could just need to be broken in more.

I wear a size 8-8.5 in Adidas women and I have a wide and flat foot…I tried the 7.5 wide width in men’s size and it fit me well in terms of length and width, but the back of the shoe came up too high and felt like it was poking the back of my leg. I liked the look, sole was rugged, and it was a well made shoe…I walked around at home a bit, but I couldn’t convince myself that they would be comfortable on any type of hike, and I had to return them.

66 years old. Worked (still do ) wholesale parts counter / warehouse 45 years. Older get the tougher it is on feet / knees. Stand / walk miles day on hard tile / concrete. ALWAYS looking For comfortable shoes. Reviews on these were all positive so tried em and no regrets. Just bought my 3rd pair ( as a spare ). 1st pair wore out at work but still use at home to mow and work around house. 2nd pair still wear everyday to work. If you are on your feet like me and need a comfortable and durable pair shoes I highly recommend these. Adding this comment at later date as got a question as a verified buyer and don’t know how to edit that answer. Question was , “ do these shoes come in the ORIGINAL box ? Not sure I understand the ?? . They DO come in an Addidas box , but it is not the classic ( Blue ) or later on ( Brown ) box with the 3 stripes. Not sure where question was going but felt like need to clarify as other customers answered emphatically YES and not sure that was accurate. Not sure what that has to do with the quality of product in the grand scheme of things but evidently it was important to the person who posed the ?? So it may be important To others ??? Scheme

Los compré para hacer caminatas en montaña y para ir a Perú, al inicio un poco duros, por eso los usé un par de días antes de ponerlos a prueba en mi viaje a Perú. En resumen los recomiendo aunque aún no los pruebo en mi viaje principal, ya los usé para un par de caminatas en terrenos irregulares similares y podría decir que me gustaron más de lo que esperaba. Actualizo* Le quería regalar esta misma referencia a mi novia, pero por temas de tiempo no pude hacerlo por acá, sin embargo los conseguí en una tienda Adidas local y los ama. (En definitiva son una buena compra).
