These look great, with a classic and sharp silhouette and a clean minimal style. They are way more durable than Gazelles, but also slightly heavier. They felt a bit stiff initially, but after a break in period they cnform to the shape of your foot and wear like a glove. The leather is quality full grain that is subtly pebbled. They have a cushy EVA midsole and a rubber outsole that is more suited for urban wear than a typical soccer shoe, like the Samba. Arch support is good but not overdone. The Samoa's are somewhat slept on in the Adidas Originals line, but are a fantastic shoe that pairs well with athletic or casual outfits and has clean, sleek lines. It's a touch more refined than a shelltoe and well built. Great for walking and they stay comfortable all day. I am a size 12 with a slightly wide toe and these fit true to size. ... show more

Love these shoes so much, I bought them in navy from Foot Locker, too. I have planter fasciitis and arthritis from knee surgeries (I used to be athletic!). I can wear these shoes without issue all day. They even work great for business casual.
