I was in the market for a new pair of sneakers when I came a crossed these Adidas shoes. I typically tend to buy white leather but liked the look of these in black so I thought I would give them a try. What specifically I was looking for is a comfortable shoe for walking. I don't do much running anymore but I enjoy getting out for long walks. Unlike a running shoe, this flatter sole with plenty of cushion feels very comfortable. The fit of the shoe was spot on. I wear a standard mens 8 1/2 US and it slipped right on as expected. It is light weight and seems to breath well so I believe I will be very happy with this choice.

It is well constructed with good cushioning on the outer sole and it is fairly rigid in that it does not twist much. The insole is flat, made with cheap foam but a nice cover and very thin. I replaced it with one of my thin insoles and it is much better. Not enough room for a thick insole without feeling tight but I will see if it will break-in. It is a bit narrow for me as expected. I like the shoe but wish it was wider and roomier. It feels like a D width.

For context, I am 6"4", 215 pounds, and usually wear a 12.5 or 13, depending on brand, I have put about 30 miles on these shoes before writing this review. I can only rate these as 2 stars ~ there are issues here that for 50 bucks do not exist in the better options out there. What I like ~ • All black styling makes this "tennis shoe" more fashionable ~ I can wear these with more outfits without them standing out as an athletic shoe. What I do not like ~ • Shoe is tight when compared to my other 12.5s and I am convinced the 13 would not fit better. Length and width are perfect but the height and the shoe's inability to hold onto my foot in place, unless I tie the upper most holes, is unusual. • Shoe advertised as "Run Falcon 5 Sneaker" but it doesn't work well as a runner, more of a walking shoe. • The top 2 pair of holes were not aligned properly. At least one pair is necessary to help with fastening the shoe to the foot ~ else I can almost walk out of these shoes and this extra movement generates friction. • When using the upper most holes to tie the shoe, the laces are too short (see pic). I have to tie tiny bows and even then, only the plastic on the lace is left over. • Bottom of sole is thin and featureless, no branding ~ reminds me of generic shoes (cheap)

Shows are great. Slightly tight since I ordered a size 10 and got a size 9.5 instead. Not returning because I needed them for work and don’t want to wait extra time for the return process. Great quality of shoe, not so great quality on the accuracy of the shipping department.

I am picky about comfort and traction in shoes. These surpassed my needs and expectations. They are lightweight, durable, true to size, have great traction, and offer plenty of cushion. I wore these at work on concrete 8 hours a day and my feet didn't get uncomfortable like other brands I've tried. I also love the style all in black and they are also breathable. 5 Out of 5 Stars!

I vacillate between Brooks, Hoka and adidas for my trainings. These are definitely cheaper and it is easy to tell. The styling is nice and the solid black hides the fact it is an athleti sport shoe if you wanted to wear it out as regular clothes. But the shoe itself leaves things to be desired. The toe box seemed short and the shoe moves around a lot on the foot unless the laces are in the absolute last hole and tighened a lot. I got a blister on my first run. The bottom of the sole was thin and didn't feel like they would last. Inside cushioning left a lot to be desired too. Arch support was ok.
