I wanted a pair of shoes I could travel with that could double as sneakers for around town and running shoes. The classic look of the Adidas stripe does the trick, even though the shoe build is more "running shoe." That said, they are pretty heavy for running shoes, and also very padded, which is great for general walking, but adds a lot of heat when running. Overall, well worth the $30 I paid for them on sale!
