Thanks to Travel and Leisure online magazine for recommending an Adidas running shoe - I couldn't find the specific one recommended and instead chose this Men's Lite Racer Adapt 5.0 Running Shoe: it did not disappoint! These are by far some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned: they are slip-ons, make excellent walking shoes, and are almost perfect for a treadmill run ("almost" because they somewhat feel like slipping off but never actually do). In the many miles of walking or running on them, I have yet to have swollen feet (a little expected soreness maybe, but never swollen) and I almost do not notice having the shoes on. These shoes were very tight on my feet at first. I contemplated moving on from them. After a couple of weeks of wear at work, the fit stretched a bit and I loved how comfortable they ended up being. I continued wearing at work daily for 2 years. I work in prison and walk primarily on concrete. Very breathable and easy to slide your feet into hands free. I bought these shoes about 3 months ago and they've held up very well everywhere except the sole. I'm already noticing quite a bit of wear to the point where some of the texture is almost gone. Now if I was wearing these everyday I'd say this is acceptable but I only wear them about every other day. I'm still giving them 5 stars because I truly do think they're great shoes and are very well priced. However, I do wish the tread was a little more durable. ... show more

I love the brand and style. I got a pair of these in white too. They went from being my workout shoes to my yardwork shoes. I can wear them all day and be fine. They have great arch support.
