I’ve been using the Adidas Duramo Speed 2 mainly for walking and running, and so far I’m really impressed. They’re very comfortable right out of the box with good cushioning and they feel lightweight without feeling cheap. I’ve put a decent amount of walking into them and also used them for runs, and they’ve held up well. The upper still feels solid and the outsole has been more durable than I expected for the price. What I like most is that they feel versatile — comfortable enough for everyday wear but responsive enough when I pick up the pace. I liked them enough that I ended up getting my girlfriend the SL 2, and she’s been enjoying hers too. If you want a good-quality shoe without spending premium running shoe money, I’d definitely recommend the Duramo Speed 2. ... show more

My 12-year-old son has been rocking these for about 4 weeks now - Loves them. Purchased because he needed a pair for the track team, from the get-go they have exceeded his expectation. Right out of the box, they felt comfortable with zero break-in period. The engineered mesh upper is highly breathable, keeping his feet (Which at times can knock a horse on its butt) cool on warm runs, and the fit runs true to size with a secure, glove-like feel around the midfoot. The standout feature is definitely the cushioning. The Lightmotion midsole provides as he describes a slightly springy ride that absorbs impact without feeling mushy or heavy. Which is important because he has heel problems as a result of his rapid growth. After four weeks of daily use there’s minimal tread wear and the upper still looks and feels great. For the price, it’s hard to find a more consistent, comfortable daily trainer. If you want a no-nonsense running shoe he highly recommends these. ... show more
