These are comfortable and good looking shoes. Before buying them, I'd read review where someone had written: "The little ribbon that the laces run through broke on the second day of wearing them." After wearing them for just a few months, I had the very same thing happen to me. The little loop/ribbon snapped right off, rendering the shoes useless. One way to avoid this could be to always leave the laces tied up, as pulling on them stresses the loop. However, if you need to wear the shoes snug because you use them to play sports, that's not going to work so well. I suggest you consider spending your money on other shoes. ... show more
