From the moment I first saw the 4-D shoes by Adidas, I knew I was going to get a pair. My first was one of the first generation. The chief difference between them and these 4DFWD are the webbing in the sole was much more tightly knit on the earlier pair. The webbing on the new pair are further apart, giving the shoes a more cushion feeling while walking. It's pretty noticeable vs the earlier pair, too. It goes a long way towards making them more comfortable to walk and run in. First off, these shoes look great. I know the 4-D webbing isn't for everyone, but I love them. I think it makes them just about the most unique shoes you can find on the market today and they are comfortable, which is a nice bonus, especially considering how much they cost. I had a pair of 4-D Fusio shoes last year and while I ordered the same size I usually do, they were far too small for me to wear comfortably. I gave them to my son. Honestly, they fit far differently than any other pair of Adidas I have ever owned so I'm wonder what it was exactly, but even though they looked great, they didn't fit. Oh well. These however do. Fit just as my other shoes do. Which reminds me, why can't shoe manufacturers come up with a standardized sizing for everyone? Under Armour size 13.5 are the same as NoBull size 12, and those are the same as Adidas size 11.5 and Nike sizes are slightly off from that as well. I mean, really? It's that difficult to get them to agree on an industry standard that is the same across all manufacturers? Apparently so. Oh well. In short, these are great shoes, they look good and feel great, too. What more can you ask for? Kudos to Adidas for pulling this off with their innovative tech.

As expected, product is of high quality and fit. A little getting used to at first, most definitely unique shoe. Does get a little dusty in the midsole but easy to clean with running water.

The shoes are great looking and provide good comfort. Unfortunately after 4 weeks of using only for walking the front tip that wraps from the sole over the toes started is now unglued. I want to wash the shoes but I'm afraid that will get even worse. Contacted Adidas for the issue and they a kind of running me around. Asking for purchase receipt even after I send them the Amazon order. Never expected this from Adidas and hoped they are better that than other brands but it looks like they are not. Spend your money other brand and not Adidas if you want lasting shoes and better customer service. I receved almost response from Adidas warranty department with offering me a gift card for their regular store for the amount I paid minus sells tax. All I wantd was to receve a replacement item hopefully that will not have manufacturing problem. I contacted Adidas Amazon store and waiting for response.

I’m a huge Adidas fan, particularly Adiboost. Few brands manage to pull off what those are able to. They’re light, comfortable, fit great, interesting looks, great quality and durable. Mine are still going strong after 2 years. Thought no other Adidas would meet my already high expectations. But these 4D’s are surprisingly better all around. Not by a huge margin but better. Size 14 fits comparably to similar Adidas designs. The interesting midsole pattern and familiar look caught my eye and these popped up for $90. So I instantly ordered. The value proposition crushes the Adiboost’s and are as versatile while looking slightly wider. Can be worn with a button down shirt and jeans or shorts and a t shirt. If you own Adiboosts, you’ll love the 4D’s even more.
