From the moment I first saw the 4-D shoes by Adidas, I knew I was going to get a pair. My first was one of the first generation. The chief difference between them and these 4DFWD are the webbing in the sole was much more tightly knit on the earlier pair. The webbing on the new pair are further apart, giving the shoes a more cushion feeling while walking. It's pretty noticeable vs the earlier pair, too. It goes a long way towards making them more comfortable to walk and run in. First off, these shoes look great. I know the 4-D webbing isn't for everyone, but I love them. I think it makes them just about the most unique shoes you can find on the market today and they are comfortable, which is a nice bonus, especially considering how much they cost. I had a pair of 4-D Fusio shoes last year and while I ordered the same size I usually do, they were far too small for me to wear comfortably. I gave them to my son. Honestly, they fit far differently than any other pair of Adidas I have ever owned so I'm wonder what it was exactly, but even though they looked great, they didn't fit. Oh well. These however do. Fit just as my other shoes do. Which reminds me, why can't shoe manufacturers come up with a standardized sizing for everyone? Under Armour size 13.5 are the same as NoBull size 12, and those are the same as Adidas size 11.5 and Nike sizes are slightly off from that as well. I mean, really? It's that difficult to get them to agree on an industry standard that is the same across all manufacturers? Apparently so. Oh well. In short, these are great shoes, they look good and feel great, too. What more can you ask for? Kudos to Adidas for pulling this off with their innovative tech.

Circle wrong with any shade of pink shoe I thought these were really great color. And although it looks like it might crowd your feet it doesn't. I enjoy wearing them I get lots of compliments and the support in the shoe is top notch. I have excellent fit they are true to size and they help me support my ankle

These shoes were bought as a gift for a family member and I am extremely dissapointed with how they are lasting after not even 4 months or use. These shoes are used primarily for running at the gym and doing jump rope and they are already ripping apart at certain spots as shown in the picture. There shoes were priced at $200 when purchased and it is completely unacceptable that they are deteriorating so quickly. These shoes do not get enough intensive use nor are they exposed to bad conditions whete this should be happening. Extremely disappointed by Adidas.
