We have a Tesla that we absolutely love and I’m not about to take it through a car wash. We’ve had the car ceramic coated and the company that did the work for us recommended that we consider getting a foam cannon. I looked hard at Electric Pressure washers designed for cars and came across some videos about the Adams Electric Pressure Washer. The videos also showed the advantage of using an Air Cannon to dry not only our car, but our motorcycles as well. These have got to be one of my all-time favorite purchases. If I had one regret, it would be that I didn’t get the larger air cannon, but there is a significant change in price. The Jr. size is perfect for our motorcycles and works just fine for the car, but sometimes I just want the extra “umph” that the larger Adams Air Cannon would provide for that large glass roof of the Tesla. The advantage of the Adams Electric Pressure Washer is that it’s designed for vehicles; you aren’t going to risk stripping paint or an emblem off your car, but you are going to get that dirt and oil off. I do an initial spray to get surface dirt and bugs off before quick connecting the soap cannon and spraying the car down with soap and letting it sink deep into the dirt and road oils. One of the advantages of a soap cannon is that you can use it in full sun and as long as the soap is on the car, you aren’t going to have those dastardly streaks. This gives you time to rub down those stubborn areas and really get it clean. Once that soap starts to break down and you rinse it off, you want to get it dry pretty quickly, that’s where the beauty of the air cannon dryer comes in. The dryer sends a blast of very warm air through a concentrated hose that just sends water off the car in sheets. Those little areas that you just can’t ever get all the water out of … the mirrors, handles, and panel seams … they are no match for the air cannon. It just blasts the water out! No more drips that show up 5 minutes after you thought you had dried everything. The result is absolute perfection. Adams makes quality equipment and it looks a beautiful as it performs. The air cannon sits on wheels that roll very easily, you’ll want to use those wheel locks they come with before you get too happy and tug that hose towards you. You’ll watch it careen into the side of your car, or your small child, and suddenly the day gets a little darker. Adams also makes a mount that you can hang the cannon on the wall of your garage. I wouldn’t do it for the jr. size, it takes up so little room, but if it got the larger one … I’d do it. I like the idea of keeping my garage neat and having a sense of control over that rolling beast. Absolutely recommend both the Adams Pressure Washer and Adams Air Cannon Jr.! ... show more
