Love this combo. It leave my face feeling so smooth. Unfortunately I can't seem to consistently keep the pores down on my nose but I wouldn't fault this product to it. That's just a problem area of mine that I can't seem to figure out. Otherwise it works great in the rest of my face and does make my nose smoother just not as smooth as I'd like. I used this scrub way back in 2018 and LOVED it then. I still think the formulation of that version of the scrub was the best skincare product I ever used and made me addicted to wanting to wash my face everyday. It was gritty but the grains were way smaller and almost not there but they were, giving an accurate and elegant facial scrub experience that felt like it truly got everything. This one is a close second. It still feels the same and doesn't clog my pores (I use it once every 2 days) but the grains are so much bigger -- almost st.ives sized! it's not to big of a deal as it doesn't scratch my skin but it makes no sense from a marketing standpoint to get rid of the old formulation as it was phenomenal -- perfect in every way. Regardless, less than phenomenal is still great and to this day I can't think of any other scrub that competes in making me feel both clean and still offering me a fun sensory experience. A lot of people are complaining about how it smells and it doesn't smell bad at all to me -- very natural and earthy if anything. I’ve been buying so many products for my dry, dull skin. Even a fancy hydro facial tool. I decided to try a exfoliating scrub because nothing else worked. After a week of using this stuff, I can finally touch my face and it feels soft for the first time in a long time. I can’t tell if it brightened my skin. I just know my skin is soft! At first this face scrub was very abrasive to my skin, however, I learned to use a smaller amount. After using it for a few months my skin is much smoother. I do have some hyperpigmentation from acne scars and I feel like it is lighter, but I do use retinol too. Be careful with using the facial scrub and then retinol. I gave this scrub a try after using the Acure unicorn something or other face wash (which was also excellent). This is now one of my favorite scrubs. It has no scent, which personally I prefer and why I rated it five stars here, it rinses easily, and my skin feels amazing after I use it.

I loved Apres facial scrub and since it was discontinued other products I tried, either not enough grains, or they were drying or they were greasy. This product hits the mark, the grains scrub, however without drying or leaving my skin greasy, although I always soap up afterwards. (Just the way I do it) My husband is even using it.
