  • Amazing
Color: Black Size: Medium
I purchased a pair of leggings and I am thoroughly impressed. The pockets are a game-changer, providing ample space for my phone and keys without disrupting my workout. These leggings are also made with sustainability in mind, using eco-friendly materials that feel good on the skin and good for the planet. They even smell good right out of the package, which is a pleasant surprise. Washability is another standout feature; they maintain their shape and color even after multiple washes. Style-wise, they are incredibly versatile, perfect for both the gym and casual outings. Lastly, the compression offers excellent support, enhancing both comfort and performance. Stability is a plus! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Comparing 90 Degree by Reflex and Activewear
Color: Charcoal Size: Small
My criterion for a leggings includes opaque, non-see through, super high waist, matte finish, and full length compression. I found 90 Degree by Reflex several years ago, and they have been my go-to since. I probably own 8 pair. I wear them to work out, walk and every day-type wear. I prefer them because I am older, but in pretty good shape (size 6.) I don’t want my skin or undies to show through during workouts, I don’t want them to creep down during bends over and stretches, and I don’t want my thighs and skin to jiggle when I walk or run! And if you think sagging skin won’t happen to you, think again my friend. I had to find a new go-to because 90 Degree by Reflex wasn’t making black super-high waist for PRIME available (what’s up with that 90 Degree?) when I wanted a new pair. I am not paying for delivery when I have a PRIME membership. These Activewear leggings popped up, and after reading about them, I decided to give them a try, knowing I could return them. They did not disappoint. Sizing is true-to-fit (size 6 is a small), and they are not a struggle to get on. The material is substantial. I feel like I can wear these and be comfortable walking from the car into the gym or store without my legs freezing during the winter, yet during a workout they aren’t stifiling - they breathe. The waist is high and doesn’t pull down substantially with bends and stretches. The waist comes up to just under my sports bra - just where I like it. The material provides great compression, which helps during exercise, and I’m not jiggling when I walk or run. The finish on the material is matte, with a bit of texture along the inner and outer aspect of the leg. There is no see through. There is no camel toe. They come in several colors. I can recommend these with confidence, ladies. ... show more

  • Flattering but TIGHT
Color: Black Size: Small
I like the firmness these leggings give you- such a nice look. I personally didn't like the texture lines that are on them I think it looks kind of ugly. I do like how high waisted they are and super thick! Deff gives you a lot of compression so if you're not used to that be mindful of wearing them ALL day or maybe even size up. I would not work out in these. I am 5'4 115 and wear a size small. ... show more

  • If you have lipedema and can't get prescription leggings, try these :)
Color: Black Size: Large
I have tried so many, so so many leggings like this and as long as I stood upright and didn't do too much else, they remained in place. But as soon as I have to do a little bit of work, or sit, they roll down and are constantly needing to be adjusted. But these ones, I actually work a pretty manual job where I'm squatting and picking up boxes a lot throughout the day, and they don't roll! They stay put for me. Even when I had lunch with my BFF, and we sat for a bit catching up, they didn't roll, they stayed put and remained comfortable. Which is the other thing, I love the comfort factor. I stay dry, and no weird odors getting trapped in unmentionable regions, especially from the active work I do. I'm 5'4 and a size 12, amazon's AI thingie said I should order XL but I ordered a L and it fits perfect. I needed it a bit more snug (still very comfortable and free moving) as I have stage 1-2 lipedema in my legs, and they really helped with keeping the swelling in check. I'm going to be ordering another 2. I hope if you give this a chance, you'll really like them. ... show more

  • Good leggings, but the large is not even stand-proof, let alone squat-proof, for 43" hips.
Color: Black Size: Large
Intended uses: lounging, stretching, yoga, running, cycling, strength work (lifting whenever gyms are safe again, calisthenics until then), and the occasional plyometric workout. I'm 5'6" and took measurements right before I tried them on: 30.5" waist, 43" hip. My proportions usually mean I have to roll the dice for high- or mid-waisted bottoms. What fits in the booty often gapes at the waist, but with thick leggings marketed for "curvy" women, sometimes it all works out and so I ordered a large in black. Alas, that was the wrong call for these leggings. I meant to wear them throughout my morning routine and chores, but ended up only wearing them for a few minutes inside due to how see through they were - forget about squat proof, these weren't even stand-proof. Maybe a color like beige would contrast with my skin less and be less noticeable, but I usually end up breaking a sweat in leggings so black is my go-to color. Compression: definitely an effort to put them on, but comfortably snug and they stayed in place. I'd call this a medium compression, which is what I prefer. I would not put these on if I was sweaty, in a hot environment, or shortly after a shower since damp skin would make putting these on such a b. Be careful peeling them off if you have any band-aids on your legs like I did - my hand slipped over my knee, caught the bandage, and definitely undid at least a day's worth of healing. Ouch. (Not the leggings fault at all, just saying.) All that said - they were flattering in the belly area. I have a somewhat narrow waist relative to my hips (regardless of weight, there's roughly a 12" difference between waist & hip) but make up for it with love handles and some puff beneath the belly button, and have "violin hips," to boot. The wide, thick waistband is one of the best ones that I've tried in terms of compressing and smoothing from lowest ribs to pubic bone. No booty crease, yay. Looking from the side, there's not much lift - but some, which was nice because I didn't buy them with that in mind. All in all, flattering and comfortable compression. Material: I would not call these seamless at all and the fabric is very textured. I don't mind this, and suspect the texture helps the material grip the skin and stay put. The tag in the bag is rough and would certainly need to be removed if I intended to keep them. The fabric is thick and I live in an area with hot, sometimes humid summers so these would likely not be year-round leggings for me. Early morning workouts on most summer days might be okay, depending on the humidity. All in all, not a conventional, smooth legging material but nonetheless well-suited for the job. Except... Squat-proof: lmao, no way. This is my only significant critique of the leggings, but it's also the most important factor. Such a bummer. The lower light of my bedroom it seemed okay at first, but I grabbed a brighter lamp to better mimic the brighter gym and outdoor lighting conditions. Squatting was a definite no, full stop. Standing was less noticeable, but you could still make out my dark red seamless panties against my skin. I would consider keeping them for purposes that don't involve high-knee motion, like jogging or as loungewear, as I think they're generally solid leggings that have a lot of merits, but I can't even stand around in them and look decent. Ah well, I knew it was a gamble despite the great reviews from other "curvy" ladies in the reviews. If you have 43+" hips, get an XL or larger. Since they were otherwise good leggings, I will exchange for an XL and try those out. I have some concerns about losing the nice effects of compression that I noted with this pair, but the only way to find out is to try them on. ... show more
