If you want great slippers for a week, buy this. Most Acorn slippers last years! This isn't one of them. The brown material up front is thin and poorly located/designed, so that it rips open on the front of both of slippers to expose the cushion within. My slippers now talk! These are true to size (I’m a 10) and warm. They are a nicer style than the regular slipper. They’re true to color as well. I’d wouldn’t use your finger in the back to pull them on though. I could see this stretching them out a little. I haven’t had them long enough to say for sure, but I avoid it.

I love these slippers. I am a woman who just puts her feet into shoes and wears down the heel counter on so many pair. These work for me! They are comfortable, warm, fit true to size and can be worn outdoors to corral my wandering black lab.

These slippers are very thick and comfortable. I love the "crashback" feature, so I have the option to wear them backless as mules, or as moccasins. They do seem to run a bit on the small side; I wear a US women's size 10 and ordered these in the "9.5-10.5" size. My toes just hit the edge of the slipper, so someone who wears a 10.5 might find them too small. I was hoping for a slipper I could wear while running errands, but these definitely look like a bedroom slipper, very thick and "clunky". The fuzzy sherpa-style material on the outer part of the shoe picks up every piece of dust, lint, or hair they encounter, so I can't imagine what they would look like after a walk outside. While they would be fine for a quick trip to the mailbox, I don't want to wear them outside for running errands (or heaven forbid, hiking, as the description photos seem to suggest?). For indoors, the soles provide good traction on my hardwood floors, and I have no doubt they will be very cozy this winter. Overall, these are comfy slippers that are convenient to wear. I am on a constant search for shoes or slippers that will accommodate my badly deformed right foot. Much of the time, even at work, I don't even wear a shoe at all on that foot. I had been wearing some very unattractive black slippers with velcro closers that made it possible to walk outside, but they were getting so disreputable looking I was happy to see these come along. I thought they just might work, and so far, so good. Although they don't look very businesslike, the leather soles and platforms look as if they will last longer than the other slippers, and the fuzzy fabric tops are stretchy enough that my right foot is not in constant pain. I would say that anyone with foot problems might like these for wearing around the house, or even for driving. They have a fairly attractive sporty look, so they'd be OK for casual occasions as well, with sports clothes. So, for those lucky enough not to have "bad feet," they will make very comfortable slippers or casual shoes. My one caution is to buy these pretty large. They are somewhat forgiving, partly because leather does stretch, so I was able to fit some insoles in to provide some arch support. My normal size would usually be a six or six and a half, as long as the shoe came in an extra wide width. These are pretty wide even though they come in only one width, and I ordered 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 as the size, thinking that would be ample. However, when I got them, the right shoe was difficult to get on, and I worried, but it turns out that with the stretchy upper and the forgiving leather, it is just large enough, without any to spare. So, if you normally are a 7 or 7 1/2, I would order the next size up and figure on using an insole. The shoe doesn't provide much arch support, so that's a good plan in any case. I'm happy with these, and I think the quality is excellent. Although we are in a heat wave, and these are more a fall or winter shoe or slipper, I'm wearing them now, and feel lucky to have them. ... show more

Soft and cozy the upper on these women’s slippers is made with a popcorn berber fabric and features suede sides and a collapsible heel portion so they can be used as a slip-on scuff or as a full-slipper. The interior is microfiber lined and the inner sole has memory foam cushioning for comfort. The size 8-9 is somewhat snug on my 8 1/2 size feet so if a size 9 it may be wise to move up to the next size. The interior is well-finished so there are no rough seam edges on the inside to irritate tender skin. The rubbery sole has a lot of flexibility and is textured to help retain footing on wet or slippery surfaces. Cleaning instructions are to spot clean because of the suede/leather components.
