Husband purchased as a Christmas gift. Not my first choice but a pleasant surprise after riding bareback for months due to no saddle at all! Have been pleased for what it is. Can definitely tell it is a more cheaply made saddle, is not close contact as it states. The "leather" doesn't feel like real leather but it has held up surprisingly well. No scratches or discoloration, even when it's gotten wet. Stirrup leathers and billets are were stiff at first but have worn in nicely. Seat isn't the most comfortable but it serves its purpose. Did not use the girth that came with it, too short. Fit is a little odd, but fits both my geldings without discomfort, pinching, or soreness - a 1300lb 16.3hh QH with weirdly shaped withers and a round barrel, and 1200lb 15.1hh Paint with a round thick back. Used for trail rides, flatwork, small jump work, and schooling. Will do well for beginners or those wanting their own saddle without breaking the bank, who want to do a little bit of everything.

I had to return this saddle only due to the fact that it was too small for my daughter. Will be ordering a larger size. This saddle for the price you can’t beat it. She’s a lively teenager taking lessons and I think the saddle will be perfect for her training & every day use. Nicely made and fit her horse very well.

I wasn’t sure about buying a saddle that was this low of a price but we have been very happy with it. It is very stiff at first but it breaks in nicely with use. It’s really a beautiful saddle and it seems very well made for the price. I think it is a great first saddle to learn on without worry about damaging a $1000+ saddle.

This is a great saddle. I was skeptical about buying a saddle off amazon just because the bridle I bought was not good quality, but this is well made. This fits my horse perfectly and looks great on her.
