Overall quality was excellent for price point. Cinch strap is integrated so if it brakes you won’t be able to use it. However the leather is high quality so I’m ok with that being tomorrow’s problem. The stirrups however are small if your a man with size 13 boots you will need to swap them.

My husband and I both really like the saddle. It is great for riding around on our pasture. However, you have to buy a different cinch no matter what! We have four horses all different breed and it did not fit one of them. They are all rescues so one is actually overweight and it was still way too big for him!!! Insane. This pad not only looks amazing on my horse but feels great! I wanted to wait on my review to see how well this pad could really last and it's held up wonderfully. I've had it for almost a full year now and it's still looking brand knew (I would clean it once a week with heavy riding) I even did a little jumping with it . 2'6 is what I did and it was beyond comfortable. The only con that this pad might have with you is that the girth that comes with it is a bit big so I had to punch a few extra holes and I used a girth cover to help keep the pad in place. I was super scared to pay this much for a bareback pad but it is definitely worth every penny.... Now it also looks like they only have the black and brown colors. I have the one that is purple. They used to come in different colors but maybe that is something to ask the seller ... show more

I like the weight and comfort of this “bareback” saddle but, similar to other reviews, the cinch does not prevent the saddle from slipping. Other reviewers have recommended purchasing a new cinch, so I will try that, although attaching the new cinch will be a bit more complicated then it is with a regular saddle. LOVE this pad!!! It's leather so your stirrups don't slip. I rode my horse with this pad and it was the most fun I have had riding in a long time!! It's thick so your butt doesn't hurt, but not thick enough for you to not feel your horse's moments. I can't say enough about how great the stirrups are!! I cantered all over the place and could even post in the trot!!! They did not slip one bit!!! AMAZING PAD!!! I will definitely get this agin when the one I ordered is worn and I would 10000000% recommend this pad!! I'm really looking forward to using it on extra long trail rides in the spring! I would also recommend this pad for someone who has never ridden bare back but wants to try it because the stirrups are so steady you really feel safe! No sliding! Great pad!!! ... show more

Made nice enough. Padding is sufficient. Stirrups are nice and heavy. Cinch strap has buckles on both ends and does not allow a custom fit. Made for a fat horse and it slides back even on the tightest hole on both sides. Plan on spending more money to replace cinch. The replacement cinch will have to attach to the same ring the stirrup leather attaches to on the left side, not sure how that will feel on the inner thigh as I haven't switched out yet .... I'm still grumpy over the money already spent and the replacement necessary. Test rides went well enough I'm not convinced to return it. Once it fits correctly with a different cinch, it will be fun to ride in. ... show more

I love this bareback pad!! I have tried several different ones and this is by far the best.. even counting very expensive ones. It is soft for both me and my horse. Do not use it to mount as it could easily roll. I come out of the barn with this and my mare comes to meet me to go for an easy fun ride. I think it will last a long time with very little care. The suede seat makes it very easy to stay put and not slide around. The stirrups are very good quality and the leathers are plenty long enough (I'm 5'5") with extra holes to spare. I would definitely recommend this pad. ... show more
