Okay so I ordered this dress in two colors. The blue (AMAZING), and the ombré (which I so wanted to love). BLUE DRESS ——————————— I really can’t find enough good things to say about this dress. 1. Material - so soft and completely opaque - color is spot-on and absolutely gorgeous 2. Fit - flattering af whether you’re having a good day or a bloaty one - no joke. - I have worn this dress at two different weights (10 lbs difference) and I felt like a million bucks in both situations ;) * main issue - I only gave four stars because the armpit holes/top portion in general was very large, but I put one stitch under each armpit, and gathered the rest of the extra material into the knot and secured with a couple more stitches; what you see pictured is the finished product! OMBRÉ DRESS —————————— I honestly don’t HATE it, but it does have its issues. 1. Material - completely different material than the blue dress; definitely feels cheaper, but not to wear it feels like a swimsuit/Halloween costume, if that makes sense - soft and opaque 2. Fit - fit was actually better than the blue dress - top portion was form-fitting and laid nicely - colors vibrant and gorgeous * main issue - as other reviewers have stated, the bottom portion of the dress is basically sewn upside down; instead of being a proper gradient from top to bottom, it’s like two separate ones between the top and the skirt. It honestly still doesn’t look BAD, but it was definitely a bummer. If you don’t mind that though, its still a cute dress! CONCLUSION ——————————— If you’re on the fence about it, I seriously recommend just going for it! Don’t be intimidated by the cutout; I promise you’re going to be shocked at how much you love yourself in it! ❤️

For reference, I'm around 5'1 about 125lbs, 34C. I read many of the reviews before making this purchase and so glad I did! I ordered a small and it fit perfectly! I carry most of my "extra" weight thru my hips and thighs and the ruching hides my imperfections nicely and the length hits just a few inches above my knees. Is not sheer or see through. I'm really excited to wear this dress on my upcoming vacation! Now to just find an outfit for my bf that will compliment this dress! Will likely ordered another in a different color.

So I’ve been seeing this dress everywhere and especially on curvy ladies and they are killing it in this dress! So I decided to bite the bullet and buy it & try for myself. My recommended size was XL, since I’ve been losing weight I went with it instead of going up a size or 2 like usual. Well, I should have gone with my size up gut. If you are pretty busty like I am (40J cup here) then I’d re think this dress. One the bust of the dress is high, which alright fine it’s a body con dress. But the one I got was so small I could barely fit my head in it! Once I got it on, that bust was sooo tiny, the bottom of my breasts were hanging out, which hey if you want that look go for it, but I was thinking I’d hang out with my family & friends for a party in this dress so not for me. 2, lawd have mercy was it thin! The really light purple/almost gray was so light on me you could see every detail of my breasts from 5 feet away! I saw some pictures so I was thinking it may happen but was going not. And 3rd, ugh the skirt was sooo short, like barely covering my bikini underwear short. Wtf? All the other pictures I’ve seen, the dress is a decent length. Not to mention the asymmetrical hem was totally off & sideways? And last the fabric is super itchy! I mean my chest was still itching hours after I had tried it on, Is my skin super sensitive but for $30 + you’d think it would be better made. And when you buy a body con you hope the material will be a little thick & with a nice soft stretch. But this dress was disappointing all around for me. Should I have gone with a size up? Possibly. But I fear the super thinness of the fabric & the scratchy feel would still be there. So this was a fail for me and I won’t be exchanging for a different size or color like I was considering. And it’s back to the dress search! Oh well, the ombré colors was really pretty! And on others is looks amazing. So idk if the company shipping it out for lazy with the cutting of my dress but definitely beware that you may end up with a lemon like I did.
