I paid about 12 bucks for these just before Amazon raised the price to about 30 bucks and they were a perfect fit for my 1990 Chevy K2500 pickup. However, the AC-Delco 18K560 springs ACDelco 18K560 Rear Brake Spring Kit were missing the spring that is mounted on the Actuator lever plus the springs for the Lever Return and Strut springs... though all the retainers and clips were included. I read the reviews of the Dorman HW7046 Drum Brake Hardware Kit and passed on it because someone stated not all the required springs/retainers were included for their 1988 Suburban so if you're replacing the springs you'll likely be short a few. I had both a Chilton & Haynes manual and neither was all that helpful in helping me put it back together... I'm not a mechanic so pictures go a long way for me and I'm glad I took a few before I pulled it all apart. Even with pics I managed to put the pads on wrong and had to pull them off and start over... the leading pad is smaller than the trailing pad so be sure to check them first against what's already installed. Also, my manuals told me to back off on the Adjusting Screw... which you have to do to get the drum back on... and then tighten it up until the wheel drags and then back off a full turn. It then said that if the brake pedal depresses too far you need to adjust the screw from the access hole since your drum & tire is now back on. However, there's no access holes on my truck and I found by reading further they are self adjusting but only with the vehicle is in reverse and the pedal depressed... nice to know if you don't already know it. I bought these to do the rear brakes of my 1993 Chevy C1500 but when my friend and I removed the drums he pointed out the brakes were good for another 50K. There are only 108K on the truck. They are here for when I need them. Great price and shipping time. Buy these if you need them as they are $$$ at your local parts store. ... show more
