  • Always OEM for sensors
My car is a 2012 Camaro RS with the LFX V6. It threw a P0191 code after stumbling at idle with the dreaded "Service Stabilitrak ! Engine Power is Reduced" DIC message and going into limp mode or what I like to call "Chevy Aveo Mode." LOL but not lol bc it was downright terrifying to drive it knowing it would stumble unless I kept revving the accelerator at idle or if it did out-idle me and go into aforementioned Aveo Mode. This undesirable behavior was intermittent at first then started happening almost every time I drove it and came to a stop at idle. I wasn't confident enough to do the swap myself and/or I didn't know if anything more serious was going on with the fuel delivery system. So I took it to a local mechanic to diagnose and he was very confident it was the sensor at fault. Replaced with this OEM sensor and cleared the code and car doesn't go into Aveo Mode anymore! Word to the wise, if you do this repair just follow proper safety and cleanup precautions like catching the gas that will inevitably leak out of of the fuel rail or else you will have to deal with residual gasoline smells in the cabin from the repair. Also, caution don't hose down your engine bay or undercarriage afterward to remove the residual gas smell or you will risk all manner of electrical problems. ... show more

  • 2016 GMC Canyon SLT (3.6L LFX engine) - P0191 code
This was a bear to replace...the intake manifold had to come off...while I was there I replaced the spark plugs as well, do not want to do this again anytime soon. Paid $57 for this part, by the time I come back to write the review, the price is now $27...I feel ripped off.....code P0191 is gone and has not come back ... show more
