I used to have a 1 inch board that warped and was oldd. This new board is so stable and dense it makes slicing chopping and cutting more precise and sure! It really does make a difference. The end grain is very forgiving to my Japanese knives and they don't roll the edge like side grain does!

It's well-built and has a nice design. My only complaint is that the ad said it was pre-oiled, but is was not; it was quite dry. I had to treat it with oil a couple times before use.

The media could not be loaded. This cutting board is made of solid wood.and comes in gorgeous color and texture, so i can tell that it is real walnut wood. The size is 20×15×1.5inch, which is large enough for every kind of food preparation and strong enough for it's durability, further more, The juice groove is perfect to catch excess liquid and to prevent liquid from spilling onto kitchen countertops. The most noteworthy feature it's built-in handles design, it makes me to carry and serve foods easily. The surface is smooth and when i smell the cutting board, it makes me feel so good. Walnut wood plus coconut oil makes me feel completely fresh. The end grain structure has "self-healing"function,which protects my kitchen knife from becoming dull. Therefore.
