This product has done so much. Not only has it been a nicely displayed love note that my better half sees every morning. But it actually prevented what could have been, the demise of my marriage. One night while scampering through the cupboards, I accidentally knocked the salt shaker off the shelf, the GLASS salt shaker, lead glass, American brilliant Period Cut glass to be exact. Which was located directly above the glass top stove. As slow motioned as it seemed, with my half asleep, half awake hands, I wasn't able to catch it before it hit the top of the stove. To my surprise however, watched it bounce off of the Matt and hit the back instead, leaving a dent near the knobs... Thank you for saving my marriage.. ... show more

I love this cover BUT........ the crease in the middle, from it being folded when packed, will not go away! I have tried what one comment said- to put it out in the sun, then lay something heavy on it. This did not work. I am undecided about returning this item. I will give it a little more time. My question is, Why don't they ship this rolled? It would solve this problem. It looks very nice and fits perfectly, but what a shame they don't ship it rolled. I took off one star for this. UPDATE: I returned this item because the crease would not go away no matter what I tried. I orderd a silicone one that I prefer over this one. ... show more

I’m so glad I bought this for my stovetop! It blends in to my black stove and it covers completely. I can place warm dishes on top and even put something in the oven. I highly recommend this product.
