The dress itself is beautiful, well made and fits perfectly. It's heavy and will need to get wrinkles out buy I love it and was surprised it fit so well after reading so many reviews on it running small. So for my 4 star rating reason... it is probably not enough reason to 4star it since probably, nobody but me will notice. And for the price it's acceptable. But the strap it is not sewn the same on each side with the material used. Pictures you can see. We are renewing our vows in March for our 20yr anniversary. This dress was more Beautiful in person. I got 2 sizes up after reading the reviews. Fit perfect except a little loose In bust area. The length was still long even though I'm tall. I had one issue and that was the zipper zip down and i had to use s safety pin to hold the zipper up. Thank God i felt it and it wasn't a wardrobe mishap in front of my guests. ... show more

Loved this dress for my daughter!! The top was so well made she did not need to wear a bra of any kind. No sagging. Just perfect! We did have to get the length altered but this is a well made beautiful dress. Everyone was shocked it was from Amazon. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

I read the reviews and bought a size up. It was still too small in the bust area so I returned and got another size up. Unfortunately the 2nd dress was defective. It’s such a gorgeous dress. It wasn’t too long, it flows wonderfully, just small in the bust.

The bodice fit perfectly. The only alterations needed were the shoulders to be tightened to keep them from slipping and the length. It was about 7 or 8 inches too long. But the train! The train was perfect! So long and flowy. So gorgeous. The bodice was stiff yet flexible while allowing movement. The buttons going down the back gave it a classic vintage look. I also loved the swath of sheer material that hangs from the shoulders. It has a little twist. While it's removable, it totally added to the look and I didn't want to take it off. My only complaint about this gorgeous gown is the glitter. Don't get me wrong - it's beautiful! But, it did rub on the sensitive under parts of my upper arms. My arms are not skinny, a little athletic, but not big, perhaps a small bit of fat near the arm pit. It was very uncomfortable just wearing it 5 minutes. I might have been able to deal with it because it was just so gorgeous, but my mom wanted me to wear a different gown (still gorgeous). If you're on the fence, buy it and try it on! I’ve never had that “This is the one!” feeling with a dress before, but this is the one! It’s flattering on my figure and just beautiful. Alterations were needed (pre-alterations photos attached). The bust was too large, the shoulders were almost two inches too long, and the chiffon needed to be hemmed just a bit. For reference, I am 5’9” almost 250. Be careful when it arrives - my first order had defects (the cowl wasn’t attached to the snap on the right shoulder, beading issues, and a dirt mark on the front).     • Gorgeous, but size chart is off.

I absolutely LOVED this dress!! It was lightweight and lays nicely. However, I generally wear a size 16, and full-chested and quite curvy. I ordered according to my measurements, but had about 6-8 inches too much material. Return was effortless and a replacement order was placed. Shipping was super fast and packaged well. I did need to take up the shoulders minimally for it to lay properly and the skirt is more sheer than I prefer so I ordered a cotton, flesh colored slip dress. This was all it needed. We had a wonderful wedding and were very pleased with the quality of the product. The only other concern I would comment on is that the appliqués around the arm holes did rub some, so you may want to consider dress appropriate wax or some complimentary fabric to aid in the comfort. I am going to leave this review because I read about 100 reviews on every dress I ordered so hopefully I can help someone else in return. I ordered a 24. My normal dress size is a 16-18. I am 5’3” 250. With that being said the dress was extremely long. I can’t imagine this dress being short on even the tallest woman. The chiffon was soft and flowy but wanted to just stick to my body which isn’t exactly the look I want for my beach wedding. The color is not white. It’s not even off white it’s ivory at best. It almost looks like an eggshell yellow to me and against a white dress it’s highly noticeable. The beading is average. Strings are hanging in several places. Buttons down the back are not actual buttons but a flap that covers a zipper. It doesn’t lay flat and you can see the zipper. Ok so the size- I followed the measurements and got one whole size smaller than my actual measurements matched up to according to their size chart. So my measurements are 53/47/53 and their chart would have put me at a 26. The 24 was still too large! The shoulder straps have about an inch too much fabric so they just fall off the shoulders. The breast area was incredibly large also. I am a 38DD and I could have fit a whole extra set of these girls in that dress. The wait was perfect and the sash that hangs down is beautiful but sewn onto the dress with white plastic snaps. I was too afraid to remove the sash because the threading started to unravel when I tried to unsnap it. It isn’t the worst dress I’ve seen but it doesn’t compare to some of the others I’ve ordered. This is my 5th dress I’ve ordered and probably my least favorite due to quality. This would be nice for a business function or similar but not for a wedding. Hope this helps!! ... show more
