The fit: To be clear I am very very short. This dress is long enough for a woman over 6 feet tall I assume. I have to cut off like 2 feet. The straps are also too long and have to be tailored in. That said the bodice fits beautifully. I'm a 36DD bra and a size 16 was perfect. I got it in 2 days and found a tailor that can do it in 2 days. I took like a week to plan my court wedding and am paying like 250 total for the dress once you factor in the tailoring. I'm delighted. Pros: The dress is heavy the skirt is 2 layers of opaque white fabric, 2 layers of crinoline and one layer of tulle I believe. So the skirt is very full and looks amazing. The bodice is sturdy. It is structured, I can tell there's boning and a lining fabric on the inside to make it hold it's shape. The cups are supportive and you don't need a bra. Cons:The only issue I have is the applique is sewed straight through instead of being sewed along the outside edge of each piece of applique. It won't show in pictures and guest won't notice either. The only reason I noticed is because I sew a bit and inspected it very closely.

The straps are a little big on me but can be tightened. Very beautiful and cheap for someone that dreaded going wedding dress shopping. It can’t get much better than this. Fit a little tight in the rib area but was able to zip up but I did not measure beforehand and just purchased the biggest size offered.

***UPDATE*** Our wedding, November 21, 2020, was perfect. I could not believe how incredible I felt in my dress. We altered the dress only slightly. Taking the underarm lace back a touch and shortening the sleeves. I had a $2,000 dress sitting in my basement for this day, and realized it wasn't MY dress. I was nervous taking to Amazon but hopeful (see original review below). No one could believe that the dress was bought online, or that it cost as little as it did. So many people told me that this dress was perfect and suited my personality wonderfully. I have to get it cleaned but am dying to find a reason to "have" to wear it again. ****************************************************************************************************************************** First ordered this dress in a 6 based on a review to order down, from a review with similar measurements that said the 8 was too big for her. The dress arrived and was a beautiful ivory color (see first two photos). Unfortunately, I couldn’t zip the dress and the zipper had holes in it so the zipper snagged if unzipped all the way. So I quickly ordered the 8 in ivory and hoped for the best. Concerned about the color as this was a last minute change and my wedding is in 20 days. The second dress arrived on time. As beautiful as the first, but WHITE (see second set of photos). This is the ONLY reason I did not give this a five star review. I have decided to stick with the white as it is a beautiful dress and perfect for my wedding day and other than the sleeves, fits perfectly. The cups in the second dress were better than the first and it felt as though there was less material in the bust, than there was in the smaller size. I am excited to wear this dress for my wedding. I am 5’4” at 145 pounds and wear a 36C. I hope this helps others in the future. It really is a breathtaking dress.

My engagement was quite short and I was on the hunt for a dress that would arrive quickly and not break the bank. This dress fit both requirements! The bodice was very structured and too large for me. I had the back straps taken in some so the straps didn’t fall off my shoulders, but the front still didn’t fit great. I also added a modesty panel behind the mesh v. It wasn’t a perfectly fitting dress, but it was very beautiful and flowy! I especially like the vine detail that continues down onto the skirt. It has lots of layers, but wasn’t heavy or too hot for my July wedding.

For reference, I am 5’5 and roughly 270. The dress size I ordered was a 22. My partner and I are having a small wedding so my budget was also small. I thought the dress was beautiful, but it did look a little cheaper in person. The quality of the dress was very nice and impressive! The zipper is tiny and can get hung on the fabric so be careful. I didn’t like the cheat area as it would ride up quite easily. The waist was also tighter than I wanted and knowing myself, I wouldn’t maintain the same weight for the next seven months. Lol. Another thing to note is the back of the dress. It is very wide and very deep. I have very broad shoulders and it personally did not look good on my body type. Overall, it’s a good dress for the price.. but be mindful of your body type!!
