I wanted to give it no stars! I bought this for my elderly mother who lives in another state. When she tried it, it didn't work. After calling the company SEVERAL times she got a call back. They told her if it didn't work she should try different locations in the house. That's the stuff comedy sketches are made of. If I’m laying on the floor gasping my last breath, I don’t have time to keep redialing. Many times this device failed to connect to the 911 operator. Emergencies require reliable connections. THEN when the 911 connection succeeded, the microphone was so poor, the operator could not understand me. I cannot give my address for assistance if they cannot hear me! Stupid device . ... show more

I bought two from another online source, but feel obligated as a public service to warn others. Neither of mine worked. I called the manufacturer and he said, "it happens." IT HAPPENS!!! Wow. Zero confidence. He also said it only uses 2G (ancient) technology. If you have one TEST IMMEDIATELY.
