  • Exactly as advertised.
The double-sided tape for the actuator button was a nice touch. Keeps it right where I want it. I had to mask the LED indicators, though, as they have distracting brightness! They also seem a bit irrelevant, as it's easy enough to see which state my switch is in on boot-up.

  • Much Better Than Expected
I am an experienced user of MacOS and Linux and needed a way to share two computers with desktop versions of those operating systems on my 27" 4K monitors. Frankly, I am blown away with how well this switch works. It is well constructed and even has a remote switch that allows me to alternate between the computers with a simple button push. It even allows me to use my Logitech MX keyboard and mouse for both without having to set separate switches on those peripherals. This might be the best piece of low priced tech that I have bought in quite a while. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Compact device but DP port faulty
Very compact with fixed switch to move from PC1 to PC2. HDMI connection for monitor worked but could not get DP port to work. Had to return the unit unfortunately. Did try the troubleshooting guide but to no avail.

  • Display Port will not work with Display Port to HDMI Adapter
I had no Display Port monitors so I use a Display Port to HDMI adapter on the Display Port of my video card to the monitor. I did not think this would be a problem with a KVM but I was wrong. This KVM (maybe all) will not work with a Display Port to HDMI adapter on the Display Port channel. To be clear, I connected the Display Port from the graphics card to the KVM, then used a Display Port to HDMI adapter from the KVM to the monitor but it would not work. I ended up buying new monitors with Display Port and HDMI inputs to use this KVM switch. Once I bought new monitors, the switch worked as expected. Bottom Line: This KVM switch works well if your monitors support Display Port and HDMI. If at least one supports Display Port, you are good to go. If not, be prepared to buy new monitor(s) or a different switch. Just for clarity, you may use a Display Port to HDMI adapter on the HDMI side of the switch. I am using one on my HP Elitedesk Mini, which has two Display Port outputs and no HDMI. UPDATE: After a month of use, the power adapter failed for the unit. I tested the open circuit voltage and it was correct but it was not able to supply enough current to power the unit. I had another adapter that had the same rating and connector. I used it and the unit works fine. I was unable to contact the seller and I contacted Amazon. They were only able to process a return and refund as the product is no longer in stock. I did not want to return it as the switch is working fine. I only wanted to get a new power adapter. ... show more

  • A Switch That Actually WORKS
The only kvm switch that actually works. Forget the other ones, this is solid and does its job seamlessly.

  • Trash - don't buy it.
Arrived broken. 2nd monitor port didn't work for either computer. Tried replacing cables, changing ports on the monitor (which had JUST been working before the switch went into place). Nothing worked.

  • Fast, reliable, good picture quality, straightforward
I've ordered 4 different KVM switches in the past – some common issues include: - doesn't support 4K (or it does support it, but only at 30Hz) - doesn't support 2 monitors at once - mouse lag (usually due to displaylink) - slow to switch screens (I'm talking like 1.5 minutes) This one supports 8K @ 60Hz, does both monitors at once, has no mouse lag, and switches in ~1 second (roughly, I haven't measured). I feel like I shouldn't have had to try this hard to find a working KVM, but this one does the trick (although the bar is quite low tbh). ... show more

  • Quality KVM Switch w/DisplayPort
I needed to keep my old computer accessible while I transitioned to a new PC. Having two separate sets of keyboards and mice, along with an extra monitor, that got old really fast. That's when I decided to look for a KVM switch. I needed one with DisplayPort support for my main monitor. I also wanted one with a switch that could easily sit on my desktop without taking much space. This product seemed to fit the bill. The packaging is simple and straightforward, a simple brown box. The switch included two USB cables, a remote switch, a power supply, and a small manual. The manual is brief but helpful and easy to understand. The USB cables are not long, but seem to work reasonably well. Setup was fairly straightforward. After making all the necessary connections and placing the remote switch on my desktop, I gave it a try. The device worked exactly as you'd expect. When you press the button, the keyboard, mouse, and monitor all switch to the other computer. Presto! A couple things worth mentioning. When you switch to the second computer, you're essentially unplugging the keyboard, mouse, and monitor from the first computer. That can, naturally, cause some hiccups depending upon what you're doing. I'm running Windows 10 and 11, and it takes a moment for the devices to be recognized. It's not a big problem, but it's something to be aware of. This would be the same for any KVM switch, however, and is not a critique of this one. So far, the device has worked flawlessly and done exactly what I expected it to do. I'm satisfied. ... show more
