After being let down by many different brands of vacuum storage bags over the last better part of a decade, I’m so happy to have finally found some that are GOOD!! I ordered this about 6 months ago, immediately following a move to replace a few large and jumbo sized ones I had to toss over the few months prior while packing, but didn’t actually open the box until about a month later. I’ve never been particularly fond of vacuum storage bags (outside of the kitchen kind!), but as a family of 6 in a 3 bedroom house, storage space and organization of stored items for so many people is TOUGH—to say the least. After finally opening the box and sifting through the contents, I was perfectly happy with the sizes included. There was also a few travel roll type bags, (which I’ve since repurposed as just storage bags to keep a few particular things clean from dust). Initially, I had filled 3 or 4 bags of out-of-season clothing and stood them upright in an empty cabinet as a true test of how well they would stay sealed. I used the included hand pump to avoid dragging out my big vacuum and had no issues whatsoever with the pump or bag zippers. This was about early/mid-June and it’s now mid-November. I’m pretty impressed to say, they stayed completely sealed and vacuumed until a few days ago when I opened them!! I have used a few others since as well with no issues as of yet. Im more pleased and happy with these vacuum bags than with any of the half a dozen brand or so I’ve ever used. And also very importantly—the quantity for the price and quality is excellent!! I will be repurchasing more and would recommend them!! I do wish though, that there was the option to purchase a higher quantity box (12, 15, something like that) of one or two specific sizes, while still being able to enjoy the lower cost of a higher quantity box. I don’t see other brands offering something along those lines, but I know I’m not the only one who tends to use a couple sizes much more than other size bags included. ... show more

Using the accompanying pump, these worked for me. I didn't want to use my vacuum (dog odor), the pump was easy, you just screw it onto the capped air suction ports. When you remove the pump to replace the cap, there is no air filling back in, it holds while the cap is being put on. I tried a similar type of storage bags over 10 years ago and they didn't work at that time, but these are much more functional. The bags in the pic were packed well over a month ago and they are still sealed and flat. In the 1st pic the jumbo bag (white) is a couch cover that is really bulky, the other bags holds sweaters, the medium bags have more sweaters and throws. The 2nd pic is a trunk with many blankets in the bags - keeping them fresh! These are family (handmade) quilts and afghans that I am keeping for kids. This storage method is great for keeping these items dust, bug, and odor free. I have personally found them to be useful, especially for storage in limited space. The key is to not overstuff it. One caveat - I have not opened one and "re-used" a bag, I don't know how well they will hold up in that case. I am satisfied with their functionality, the only complaint I have is that 4 of the 20 bags (the small, roll up bags) are pretty much 2 gallon zip bags. I got these because we are flying from Texas to the Christmas market in Budapest. Do going from the highs of 75-80 to high if luvky 40s. Packing a winter jacket, many sweaters and clothes for a 12 day trip the vacuum seal bags have been awesome. Before i offically pavked all my clothes were at the top of my bag (i blame the big winter jacket. But now it take less than 1/3. Now the compression bags were the bane of my sealing clothes goals it took multiple tries to grt the bag zipped correctly though probably user error... when zipped corrctly they never were as deflated as the vacuum ones (which makes sense) but personally i wish they had a small vavuum version. We are bringing the vacuum deflator but this is a plastic tube the size of a tire pump. Only because of the winter jackets if we did have those i would compress most of the air out and lock it down and still be happy with the vacuum bags though not as thin still better than what i could do ... show more

I bought these to store all of the bedding that we use in our camper for the winter. I have attempted this before, with the brand name ones and none held their suction, they ripped when I was filling them, they were expensive and I had to buy a lot. These are priced right, with a great variety of sizes. I was able to fit all of the bedding, towels, pillows, etc. that we use in the camper and I still have about half of the bags left. It comes with a hand pump, but I used the vacuum to make it easier. I had 2 that had lost their suction by the following morning, so I just went over the seal at the end and made sure it was tight and re-vacuumed. They worked great and are all holding the suction so far. The size variety was better, they didn't rip and the price is right! ... show more
