I've never spent this much on clips for food or chip bags before. I've usually bought a pack of four or six at the store. But when I did the math, this 20 pack amounted to about the same or less than what I would spend per unit price. These clips are well constructed and very sturdy. The metal edges are smooth with no rough edges. They have a strong grip and can be used to close almost any bag of food you have in your pantry to help to keep your foods fresh. They can also be used in the office to hold papers or reports together. In addition to that, they are just nice to look at. They have a shiny finish and the rounded, bulbous tops of the clips are unique that make the clips look like mini sculptures or mini works of art! (Most metal clips that I've seen have flat tops.) I think the rounded tops may be easier on your hands when you squeeze them open. And since they are so nice looking, I think they can be used to display artworks, such as cards or other artful projects, such as stringing up and displaying Christmas cards or children's artwork, especially if you order the red or gold! I keep them in the sturdy box they came in and when a food item with a clip is empty, I clean it and put it back in the box so I don't lose track of them! I love them!

These clips are amazing quality and worth every penny. After buying plastic ones multiple times and then breaking, I decided we should upgrade and am glad that I did! These will no doubt last a very long time. Very sturdy, the edges aren't too sharp but still create a solid seal, and the metal is good quality.
