  • Gift item
I bought this to give us a gift and it's exactly as it seems. It's not outstanding high-end makeup quality but it is exactly what you see. No complaints, the makeup is exactly as described

  • Good Introduction Makeup Kit
For the price, this kit has everything a beginning could want. The glitter shadows and cream are perfect for teens and/or dramatic effect. There is a nice combination of neutral and bold colors for every mood. Nothing in this set is professional quality but that is not what you are paying for. I have nieces and a granddaughter who would be head over heels for everything this kit offers. Highly recommended for that new makeup enthusiast in your life! ... show more

  • This fun little makeup set would make a great gift
This SPRINGSKY Makeup Kit is great for travel because it allows you so much creativity in your makeup choices. There is makeup suitable for daytime, date night, and party time. The colors are varied, and you can be a subtle or as crazy as you like. I love that they have included concealer shades with this set. It is perfect for covering up that trouble spot or for hiding that wayward blemish that pops up. The brushes are varied and numerous. The makeup sponge is large enough to securely hold but also shaped so that you can create the coverage you need in all the nook and crannies. I love the color of the Velvet Liquid Blush that is included outside of the boxed makeup. You will only need the smallest of dabs, of the liquid, to achieve full coverage. Also included is cherry oil lip glow which has an applicator wand and feels like a thick lip gloss. The scent of cherries is evident as soon as you open the container, but the scent isn’t overpowering after application. You can lick your lips with this oil on and it doesn’t remove any of the oil. ... show more

  • This is great
I love this makeup kit. It comes with everything that you need to do your makeup. I like practicing with different colors and this gives me such an assortment I am so happy about. I like all the colors as well as all the additional accessories. I am new to makeup and find that everything I need is included with this kit. It is well stocked and well worth the cost. All the brushes and the colors themselves are fairly decent quality so you can figure out what you like without spending a lot of money and can upgrade the products and accessories that you want to. This is a solid kit and I am very happy with it. ... show more

  • Arrived USED with disgusting fingerprints all over the makeup, and some pans missing
I would love to test this makeup out and give an actual review based on the performance, but this is not possible as it arrived in a used state, with fingerprints all over several eye and lip shades. Additionally, two of the lip shades are missing and there are just empty holes where the pans should be. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable, especially in a post-COVID world. Imagine buying this is a gift for somebody and having them open it only to find it used. Do NOT buy this set for yourself of anybody else, because clearly the manufacturer has no standards for hygeine or sanitation. ... show more

  • Okay - Face powders great, eyeshadows great. Brushes not good. Palette bulky & flimsy
This comes packaged really well. It all is inside foam to keep it protected. 🔴Lip Oil🔴 This comes in an outer product box sealed in plastic. Ingredients are on the box. It’s made in China. Color “015 Cherry.” I saw this on social media as a dupe for the Dior Lip Oil. It even has the same name on the front of the tube - “Lip Glow Oil Color Reviver-Cherry Oil.” The tube also looks the same, aside from the top missing the little kind of round knob the Dior one has. This even has shades similar to the Dior shade. I got this in “Cherry,” which doesn’t match Dior exactly when looking at it in the tube…but on the lips it looks the same. It has the chubby doefoot applicator, just like the Dior. The chubby doefoot on this is a pain to pull out of the tube. I have to yank REALLY hard to get it out every time and am worried about oil going flying every time. Aside from the packaging being similar to the Dior Lip Oil, I thought it looked very similar to the Haus Labs Lip Oil too - same look on the outside, same kind of color, same chubby applicator. The Haus Labs one is kind of a pain to pull out too, but not like this one is! This has a kind of minty smell and feel on the lips. It isn’t uncomfortable, but I feel it. This is a very thick consistency. Most lip oils are thinner, where they hydrate the lips well but wear off pretty quickly (while still leaving the lips feeling hydrated). When I first pulled the applicator out (more like YANKED it out), it had a string of the lip oil and I thought, “Oh no, this is going to be sticky!” I hate sticky lip products. This is a thicker consistency, so it lasts longer on the lips, but doesn’t feel sticky on the lips. My lips weren’t sticking together or making sticky strings when I talk like sticky lip products can. It’s just thicker, so it stays better on the lips than a lot of lip oils/glosses. The consistency to me feels much more like a thicker gloss than a lip oil, but I’m not mad about it. It feels really hydrating and leaves a beautiful shine on the lips that lasts well. SIDE NOTE - I compared the ingredients of this to the ingredients of the Dior one….they were exactly the same except for the last 2 ingredients that the Dior Lip Oil has - Benzyl alcohol and propyl gallate - and the color ingredients that may be included. I included the ingredient lists of both at the end of my review. Honestly, I don’t think the ingredient list on this is legit. I think they just copied what the Dior Lip Oil ingredients are and it’s only missing the last 2 and other color ingredients because it couldn’t fit on the box 😂 This smells like mint and has the minty tingle, and the Dior one doesn’t. There’s no mint ingredient listed at all. So, I can’t say for sure, but I don’t think it’s the real ingredient list. So, I don’t know. 🔴Liquid Blush🔴 This comes in an outer product box sealed in plastic. Ingredients are on the box. It’s made in China. There’s no shade name or number, but the color is shown on the top of the box and you can see the color in the tube. I’ve gotten other liquid blushes just like this that are dupes for the Rare Beauty Liquid Blushes. I’ve gotten some from the brand Qibest and some from the same brand as this one(Lakerain Beauty) and love them, so I was excited one was included in this set. The ones from Lakerain Beauty come in larger tubes than the Qibest one (see photos), so I was really excited this one was from Lakerain Beauty. The packaging is very similar to Rare Beauty Liquid Blushes. Even the outer product box this comes in is very similar to the outer product box of the Rare Beauty Liquid Blushes. But, the actual component for the blush is also extremely similar to the Rare Beauty Liquid Blushes. The bottom is frosted clear plastic and the top is gold plastic. It’s lightweight but has a nice look to it. It has a doefoot applicator. It’s a little wider than standard doefoots (like with concealers). It has a flat side to daily dab it onto the cheeks. This is a liquid blush. It’s a thin consistency. The doefoot has A LOT of product on it when you first take out the applicator. I show a photo of the product on the applicator (though it’s probably hard to tell how much product is really on it). I show a photo where I did a dab of the applicator right on my arm, then did a swipe to show the color more (without dipping back into the tube), and did another dab (again without dipping back into the tube) to show how much I applied before it was blended. Hopefully, with how much product you can see there, you can get an idea of how much comes out on the doefoot applicator! Because of that, I found when I’m going to apply this, it’s best to swipe off some product on the side of the tube as I’m taking the applicator out. I show a photo where I blended the last dab out with my finger - hopefully you can see how far just that little bit went! I have very fair skin and it’s neutral leaning slightly cool. This color doesn’t work well for me. It’s VERY pigmented, though it can be sheered out. It’s also too dark, but, again, I can sheer it out. But, the main thing is it is just too warm toned for me. I don’t like how warm it leans on me. But, it works well so if the shade will work for you, it’s a great formula. This dries down quickly to a matte powder finish. It doesn’t give a ton of time to work. The problem is that it’s so pigmented, I need to be careful with how much I apply. If I dab it right onto my cheek and then try to blend it out, I can get way too much product. I found the best way was to take the applicator and dab some onto the back of my hand and then dab my brush into that to kind of spread it onto there evenly and then apply it to my cheeks. But, it dries so quickly I need to move fast when I do that. I often need to apply another couple dabs onto the back of my hand because the initial one dries so quick. I also found if I dab some on the back of my hand and take my finger and dab it lightly into that and then dot a few light dots along the area I want it, then quickly blend it out with my brush, that works too. I can also blend it with my finger that way, but I prefer a brush because it spreads it out and sheers it out better than my finger. Overall, I do really like this. It’s a nice, thin consistency. It’s EXTREMELY pigmented so a LITTLE goes a LOOOONG way. It also dries quick. But, being so pigmented and drying so quick can make it a little hard to work with. As long as I dot it on and blend it out right away, it blends easily and looks nice and even. But if I tried dotting it onto both cheeks, by time I blend out the one side, it can start to dry on the other side and be harder to blend and not look as seamless. But, I found if that happens then I can just go over it with a damp sponge and that helps blend it out so it looks better. So that’s an option if you feel it dries too quick and isn’t blended out how you want. But, as long as I dot it on one cheek and blend it out, then dot it on the other cheek and blend it out, I haven’t had any issue with it drying too fast. It looks beautiful once it’s on - doesn’t look dry or cakey, good pigment, and lasts all day. It’s a great formula! I’ll definitely be purchasing these Lakerain Blushes instead of Rare Beauty from now on! ONE SIDE NOTE - I noticed the ingredient list on the product box for this blush matches the ingredient list for the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush EXACTLY. However, it matches the ingredient list for the Rare Beauty “Radiant” finish, not the “matte” finish. Now, they are extremely similar. I honestly don’t notice a difference. So, it’s definitely possible they use the same ingredients in the same order. But, I did want to mention it. 🔴Handaiyan Magic Colour Shiner🔴 This comes in an outer product box, but it’s not sealed in plastic. Ingredients are on the box. It’s made in China. Color “01.” This is in a plastic tube and the top pulls off to reveal and kind of puff. It’s weird. You squeeze the tube and the powder inside comes out onto it. Then you can dab it where you want it. But, it’s kind of big so it makes it hard to be precise in the small area on my cheeks I want highlight. This works better for larger areas for me, like my collarbone. It gives a nice sheen without looking too glittery. 🔴Smokey Look Collection🔴 This comes in an outer product box. Ingredients are listed on the box. It doesn’t say where it’s made, but I’m guessing China like everything else. You open the top to reveal 2 kind of palettes that each have 2 large pans at the top and then 16 small pans of eyeshadow (4 rows of 4). So the top 2 parts have a total of 4 large pans and 32 small pans. Those 2 top parts slide out (one to right and one to left) to reveal a palette on the center. The part in the center has 6 large pans that are bronzer, highlight, and contour on the left side and 3 blushes on the right side. Then you have a drawer that pulls out the bottom that has 16 small pans of lip color shades, 12 small pans of “glitter cream” shades, and then 4 “concealer” shades. The palette itself feels cheap and flimsy. Like when sliding the top part open to reveal the part underneath, it feels like it’ll fall apart easily. Pulling out the drawer on the bottom was kind of hard, but I eventually got it. Then I saw what looked like 2 missing spots, and based on the product photo of everything on the front of the box, it did seem like 2 were missing. The face powders are nice. I have very fair skin that’s neutral leaning cool. It’s hard to find cool toned blushes and contours. Even bronzers end up being way too warm for me. But the ones in this set seemed to lean more neutral or cool, so I was excited to try them. There’s 1 large pan that is like a black satin shade. The large pans all seem to be face powders except for that one. I’m not sure why it’s in a large pan? Then a beautiful mauve colored one that I love for blush. A pink toned brown that works amazing for bronzer for me. Then there’s a warmer toned bronzer that doesn’t lean orange like so many warm bronzers, so so it still works for me. They all are soft, smooth, and pigmented. They blend out easily. They last well. The face powders in the middle - bronzer, highlight, contour on left side and 3 blushes on right side) are also great. They’re soft, smooth, and pigmented. They blend out easily. They last well. The bronzer and contour both lean warm, but again, not orange like a lot of bronzer shades. The blushes have a nice variety of colors with a peach, a red orange, and a pink. All of these face powders are pigmented, so I need to use a light hand with my fair skin, but they’re easy to work with. The eyeshadows are also soft, smooth, pigmented, blend easily, and last well. There’s a nice variety of mattes and shimmers. There’s also a nice variety of color and neutrals. The eyeshadow pans are small, but you can easily fit a brush in them. I don’t care for the pressed glitters. I have a love/hate relationship with glitter. Glitter looks pretty and sparkly and has its moment…but I don’t like pressed glitters in palettes. Even when I don’t use them, they somehow manage to contaminate other shades and I get pieces of glitter in the other pans. So, once again, I was glad I was able to take the box apart and just toss those. The cream lips are pigmented and creamy. They apply nicely. But for me they aren’t something I’d reach for. I prefer having an applicator like a doefoot for my lip products rather than having them in a pan and needing a brush. The concealers weren’t for me either. They were waxy, not too pigmented. Personally, the palette itself was just too bulky for me and felt so flimsy, but I did like some of the shades in it so I decided to kind of take it apart to basically de-pot it and keep the pieces I wanted separate. It was actually easy to take apart (adding evidence to the flimsiness of it I suppose, but I was glad I could get it apart easy!). You could just take it apart and keep the pieces separate but still in the plastic encasing, though you won’t have a lid for them. I personally kept going and took the pans I wanted out of the plastic casing (if you don’t know how to de-pot pans like that, you can easily look it up. But I just turned on my hair straightener to warm up and then held it just below the pan I wanted to remove for a minute (not right against the plastic but just under it) to loosen the glue holding it inside the plastic casing and then used a thin lifter to gently work the pan out. It was really easy and I didn’t break any of them!). Once I took it apart, I found where the 2 pans from the missing spot were….they somehow got dislodged, I’m not sure if it happened when it was on its way to me or before that, but the pans were stuck up behind in the part where when pulling the drawer out, you can’t see it. But, I was able to see them once I actually took it apart (see photos). 🔴Brush Set & Sponge 🔴 This comes sealed in a plastic bag. Each brush is individually in a plastic sleeve. These aren’t great. They’re just basic brushes with cheap plastic handles and cheap ferrules. I had one brush fall apart as soon as I took it out of the plastic sleeve (see photos), and there’s others that feel really loose like they’ll be falling apart soon too. On top of that, there’s a lot of similar brushes that aren’t as useful to me. There’s only a few I’ll actually use. There’s a couple that have sponge tips, which I like. I like those for applying shimmers/metallics because they pick up the product and apply it just like it picks up and applies with my finger, but I get precision I can’t get with my finger. I usually buy a bag of small dual ended ones at the Dollar Store, so I’m always happy to get some of these in brush sets. There’s a spoolie brush for my brows, which is nice and soft. Not scratchy. There’s 2 thin liner brushes. Then the rest are all kind of flat liner, flat eyeshadow, or flat concealer brushes. Even the larger brush is a flat type brush that I wouldn’t use for foundation because I prefer brushes where I can blend the foundation rather than ones I swipe with like you would with a flat foundation brush. So, I just don’t think it’s a very well-rounded set. Even for someone just starting out, you want to at least have some blending brushes. This doesn’t have any blending brushes. The sponge works well. It’s soft and bouncy. It gets to a nice size once wet. It has a pointed tip to get in smaller places like under the eyes and around the nose easily. There’s a flat edge too. 🔴OVERALL THOUGHTS🔴 This is a nice kit. I love the formula of the liquid blush, but the shade just wasn’t for me. The lip oil is nice. It’s thicker, more like a gloss but lasts well on the lips since it’s thicker. The palette was too bulky for me personally, but I loved some of the shades so de-potting those worked for me. The shades all worked well. They’re easy to work with. This is a nice kit for someone starting out. There’s a mix of colors and neutrals to play with. There’s face powders, eyeshadows, lip colors, and even glitter. The brush set isn’t good at all. There’s just not a good variety to complete a full look (no face brushes to apply the blush, bronzer, or contour and no blending brushes for the eyeshadows) and they feel flimsy like they won’t last at all. So if this was a gift for someone, I’d recommend getting a different brush set to go with it. I give it 3 stars. There’s some good and some not-so-good. ... show more

  • Well worth the price
Even as backup makeup, this is well worth it. There is so much here that you are bound to find something you like and can use. There are several different brands (all made in China) in this set. The liquid blush is extremely pigmented and blends well (though too much rubbing will rub it off). The brushes aren't great, but the beauty blender is fantastic. The lip oil has a nice peppermint smell to it and is a bit tingly (maybe it is plumping). Finally, I wanted to mention the shimmer stick. I have used similar ones in the past that have been messy and not shimmery. The one in this kit leaves a noticeable shimmer and is easy to apply. ... show more
