Fairly easy to install. Look great. Very bright. Only complaint is the on-off switch. Toggling through the different modes to find the mode you want is kind of a pain; and you never know which mode your on unless you can see the lights reflection. Going to look for a better switch. These are excellent LED pods. I got these to replace a pair that were underwhelming in terms of output. These deliver. Packaging: These came well boxed, each pod individually wrapped in bubble wrap. The package came with two pods, a mounting bracket and hardware for each, toggle switch, and wiring harnesses. Installation: Running lights is always a time-consuming job, so be prepared. This package comes with a wiring kit so you don't have to build it all from scratch. The kit itself is well designed, and uses good waterproof connectors. The kit suffers from a problem that most of these pre-designed kits do: the wiring lengths are wrong. The design of the harness has a "base" of sorts that attaches to your battery. This base feeds out a wire to each pod and has a plug for the wire coming off the toggle switch. Since the base has to be installed near the power source (battery), this means the wire coming off the toggle switch needs to extend from the battery to your dash (or wherever you're installing it). How long is this wire? About six feet. Now, if I were going to install it in my dash and drill a hole through my firewall right behind the battery this would be enough wire. But since I'm using an existing hole this left me needing another four or so feet. The solution? I found the same connectors on Amazon and created my own extension wire. The toggle switch will need a home as well. It's designed to have a space for it cut out and it will snap into the opening. Use: Flip the switch and the lights turn on. Turn it off and back on and the mode changes. There are several, including all white, all amber, white and amber, white flashing, amber flashing, amber and white flashing. There might be more, but I've just cycled through a few times playing with it. If you turn it off for a while and back on it remembers the last setting you used so you don't have to cycle through them all again. I'm not sure how long the switch has to be off before it doesn't think you're just switching modes. Conclusion: These are bright. The LED pods these replaced put out far less light than these, so I'm really stoked. I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of most of these modes, I mainly use the white flood, but maybe in a storm the flashing yellow would be handy. The kit is nice, mainly for the long runs of wire with waterproof connectors, though I'm going to see if I can use one of the switches in my switch panel instead of the included toggle. For the price these are well worth it, even if you do have to make your own extension wire. ... show more

These ditch/work LED light pods are fantastic. For $10 as of the time of this review, you almost certainly won’t find anything better for less. Install was super easy with some existing brackets I already had. The hardest part was just figuring out where I wanted them. There are no instructions, but there are two wires - positive and a negative (aka red and black) - hard to mess that up. You’ll need your own wiring and switch. If using them for back-up/reverse lights you can tap into your existing reverse hot wire and then connect the negative to any metal spot to get your ground. The lights are very bright for something in this price range. They will be perfect for offroading at night. We’ll see how long they last, but in this dry Southwest desert, I would think they’d be functioning for a very long time. ... show more

I got these to mount at my Wrangler's a-pillar using a mount on the windshield hinge. These lights took less than an hour to install including installing the mounts. The only difficulty I had was adjusting the beam height because the adjustment bolts are difficult to reach once the lights are mounted. The lights worked fine with the included switch and the wire lengths were good for a typical install. I chose to short the switch wire to "always on" and power the lights via my Jeep's aux switch. I am able to control all the light modes by turning the aux switch on and off. The lights are bright and remember the last mode they were set to. I recommend these for anyone seeking reasonably priced lights with a full wiring kit. ... show more

These small but powerful LEDs shine more light then my halogens lights and use much less electrical power.There are no instructions included for installing mounting brackets ,so I recommend you install loosely to see where it works best
