When I 1st received these and finally got to have them installed, I was thrilled. The amount of light these throw out is AMAZING for launching the boat in the dark. But after only 2 uses, I did notice that both had already started to have problems with water infiltration into the lenses. This quickly lead to the complete failure of 1 after only 6 times being submerged for a maximum of 4 minutes. These are supposed to be IP-67 rated: which states that it can be submerged for up to 30 minutes at 1 meter. My boat trailer is NEVER submerged for longer that 4 minutes because I launch and load by myself most of the time. The trailer is never deeper than a meter at any launch I use. These need to be seriously retested to be able to have any type of IP rating of any kind. I will say main housing is very rugged, but somehow water is accessing the lens shorting out the diodes, whether it be from the electrical entrance or the lens itself. It's frustrating that I need to remove these and redo it again with something different. ... show more

in my picture is just one of the lights on. as you can see its very bright but very focused. its better than stock backup lights for sure. wish it was a but more wide spread light. but for the size these are nice and bright

I have been using these for a couple weeks now. I have LED bulbs in my tail light and reverse lights and they're even aftermarket tail lights. They are bright by themselves due to being aftermarket and have an LED bulbs but these lights put them to shame. The beam from these being mounted on my bumper is perfect for additional reverse lighting. I used to use the four LED pods for auxiliary reverse lights but I won't ever be using those again after trying these out. There is no light shining where I don't need it. Every bit of the light from these goes right into the area I'm looking at to back up whether it's through a side mirror, my rearview mirror, out the window as I was backing my trailer in, or through my back window. I don't know that I will ever use or even try another light for a reverse auxiliary because I am so happy with these. ... show more

These aren't as bright as some of the lights I have, but for the purpose I want them, they're perfect. They're only 12 watt, but for different lighting uses, they're great. I mounted them to my rear bumper (one conveniently covers a small dent on the bumper) for additional backup lights. They're well built, and I'm not concerned about the occasional times I accidentally back into things in the woods. I'd have to hit something extremely hard to break these, I'm sure. ... show more
