This is about as honest and informed a review as you’ll find. 128 magnetic cases for around $0.50 each with next-day shipping is a solid deal. The mags are heavier and a bit thicker than I prefer, but overall they’re well-made and feel solid. Each one weighs about 1.5oz. That said, I did run into some quality control issues. Out of the first 100, 7 had loose magnets that would come out when you opened the case. In the second batch of 100, 5 had misaligned back magnets that made it hard to close the case properly—I had to knock them back into place with a hammer. Despite those hiccups, it’s still a decent product for the price. Plus, they come individually wrapped, which was a nice touch.

I trusted the 4.4 rating (out of almost 1,000 reviews); that was, as my wife would say, a BM (Big Mistake)! The 1st one I opened, the back magnet stayed stuck together w/ the front and literally pulled itself out of the plastic. The 2nd one I opened, the back magnet stayed in-place but the magnets were so weak my card kept shifting around (up and over the corner-guards). Very perplexing, which is it; are the magnets so strong they won’t separate OR so weak they won’t form a strong enough closure? I believe the magnets are terribly weak and the way they are attached to the plastic is the other issue; essentially, they are cheaply constructed. I had previously purchased another brand (on Amazon) that was exceptionally better all around; they had amazing magnets that stayed in-place and presented a very very strong closure. I actually struggle a little to open them, which is exactly what I want; these are essentially meant to be opened once (to put your card in) and to then stay closed forever. They also had a palpably higher quality plastic (thicker) and were more refined (the fit and finish noticeably better); that brand was “Samyucho”. The only reason I even considered another brand was because they were out of stock. Well, BM and BLL (Big Lessen Learned, my lingo; the Wife doesn’t get credit for that one ☝🏻); “stick with what you know”!!!
