These do not smell anywhere near as good as the originals that came with the air purifier. They don’t give off a strong scent. If I dropped the old 1 into this pile of 6 new ones, I don’t think I’d be able to figure out which one is the old one. Unless it’s time to replace the filter and that has something to do with the scent being weak. I’ve used an air compressor to clean my purifier and filter. If you’re reading this and you know for sure that the filter somehow weakens the smell of these things then disregard what I said above.

The media could not be loaded. I am a proud owner of a Shark Detect Performance Lift-Away Advanced Upright Vacuum with DuoClean Detect. I LOVE this vacuum. Go check it out so you can buy these cartridges! I'm not joking. So I'll start off by stating the OEM Shark Odor Neutralizer Cartridge ... the one that came with the vacuum I bought ... it smells like an old roommate who bathed in Axe Body Spray because he skipped showers a lot and never did laundry.... or something. Very overpowering scent. Maybe it brings back bad memories. Anyways. I kept it on the lowest intensity setting and it was tolerable. Oddly enough these OEM cartridges are also out of stock on Sharks website so maybe it's just a me problem, but whatevs. I guess an old roommate bought them all. I'll stop walking down Memory Lane. Queue these bad boy replacements though! Who cares if Sharks website is sold out! Okay so the price is great. $13.99 for SIX of them as opposed to Sharks price of $26.99 for just two. Do they both combat odor? I cannot answer that question as my home does not have any funky smells. But I do smell the odor from the cartridge regardless. These replacements smell AMAZING. Almost like a vanilla smell - makes me happy. I threw my factory cartridge into my trash bin. (Not to trash it, rather to help neutralize odors in the bin. It's worth a try.) These slid into the intensity dial very easily and fit perfectly. Mind you, the OEM ones have a little yellow marking on them that you line up with the arrow on the Intensity Dial in order to assist with an effortless turn and click. So satisfying, right? Well you can do the same with these! Nope, they don't have the special little marking but they DO slide in just fine. I have included some pictures and a video to share the difference. Well, I hope this helps someone. Well done! The little things in life make me so happy.

You think this is just another gimmick to get you to spend money, but I enjoy vacuuming and smelling the fresh aroma that these emit. They are better than the name brand, last a long time, and coming from someone who vacuums every day, that says a lot!
