No leaks to report. The connect collar on one came out of the joint when disconnecting so that unit was disposed of. Remember to keep your pex pipe end clean and evenly cut. If it’s out of round there can be problems with any of this quick connects.

I planned to wait 10 years to write a review on these, but it has been two and expect them to last. They were easy to connect. I always suggest using the proper tool to clean the Pex-B edge and use a marker to mark depth before insertion, because it is imperative that it is inserted fully. It can take a little extra strength at times. The nice thing about these is that they can apparently turn even after full insertion without leaks. ... show more

I purchased these to cut off water supply to a bathroom I was remodeling while still keeping the water supply for the rest of the house. The remodel took 4 days and I still needed to be able to use the rest of the house for daily activities. I cut the copper pipe right before the bathroom and capped the lines with these until I replumbed the bathroom. They worked fantastic enough that I've used them several times since for similar situations. One is showing some wear around the rubber seal inside, likely due to poor planning when capping a piece of copper that had a burr, so no fault of the product itself. Considering I've used and reused these multiple times, they're held up fantastic. I plan on ordering at least one more set for the same purpose in case of failure, but again, I'm installing them, pulling them, and reinstalling them much more than they were intended - but still no failure. ... show more
