Use this simple design, free-standing glass display case in a variety of locations including retails stores, movie theaters, museums, etc. Tempered glass is used for the panels and shelves because it is durable and less likely to break. There are 2 different sizes of adjustable shelves, one is 8-inch deep and the other is 10-inch deep to accommodate a variety of items in many shapes and sizes. The extra-long 6-foot, glass case is framed with particle board panels and a base that has been finished in jet black melamine. Hardboard rear doors slide for easy access to items displayed inside. while I didn't have as many issues assembling it as other appear to have. using A, B and C to identify the metal rails would have made it a lot easier. Also I recommend getting 8 one inch corner braces and 4 - 2 inch braces to strengthen the bottom. the pins used to connect the front, back and sides to the bottom are only 1/2 into the particle board and can easily tear out, also using a little gorilla wood glue doesn't hurt. I added corner casters to make moving it easier. ... show more

It weights 225 pounds and the bottom is held together with 4 screws. Made of of particle board. Fell apart during installation. I would not put anything inside of this. Your merchandise will be destroyed when a customer leans on it. There’s no way around it. Customers lean on display cases, that’s a fact. Even if it was half the money it is not worth it at all. Low quality is not the word. This would have been a disaster. A toddler running bumping into it and huge pieces of glass falling on top of them, injuring them. Unsafe and will just cost you your business if you can get it together without the particle board falling apart rendering the screw holes useless. Doesn’t even have a lock. I do not know what this could possibly be used for but it is just not worth it in anyway and is taking up space inside of my store front and I have no where to stock my merchandise now. I wasted time money and now have to fight for a refund to get something of much better quality. Don’t do it. Don’t do it don’t do it. Please don’t do it. Not only did it cost time and money but I would be devastated to see a small child climb up on it or bump into it and be seriously injured when the particle board falls apart and heavy glass comes flying down on top of them. You better have very good liability and be be ready to be sued if you think you can use this for any sort of retail. I would share the camera footage if I could with this review of it coming right apart while trying to out the sides on. This garbage needs to be pulled off the market. Thankfully it fell apart before any of this happened this will cost you a lot of money in the long run. This is exactly what’s wrong with this country.
