They are definitely plastic and it is apparent the second you look at them. This is not a bunch that I would use in an arrangement, and definitely not indoors. If you are using them for landscaping highlights in the yard, it might work. And they don't look like hydrangeas, as the title showed. Of course the photos show they don't really look like dandelions either. I had planned to use these as fillers but somehow I don't think I am going to. The other flowers I would be using them with are realistic looking and I fear this would just destroy that realism. They said when the "blades" are adjusted the bunch is almost 16" long. However, what they mean by "blades" is the weed-like foliage. You have to separate the foliage into individual sections and position each section by sliding it up and down the stem to get the foliage to give a false appearance of height. But if I am being candid, it just makes it look cheap, because it becomes even more noticeable that these are plastic. And some of the buds had some stringy type material dangling from them. Not sure what that is. Color? More yellow that white. Overall, disappointing.

I’m always amazed that people complain about flowers being plastic when it tells you they are in the description. I intend to use these in planters I have on the retaining wall with some others. Let's be clear - artificial flowers and plants rarely look real. Don't get your hopes up, these are artificial and will not be mistaken for live foliage. However, if comparing them to other artificial flowers, they are not bad. I got these to go as a "base layer" in an outdoor planter and was happy to get these in white to reduce obvious fading over the hot summer. The color of the leaves changes from dark at the base to lighter at the tip. That sounds good and realistic, but the effect is countered by the shiny-ness of the leaves and that they all tend to fade in similar spots. This will work well for my purposes, but I would hesitate to recommend if they will be placed in easy-to-view locations.

At first glance, I thought these looked more "plastic-y" than other faux flowers and plants, and I was also somewhat disappointed in their size; in the online description (see screen shot from the site), they're said to be 15+ inches tall, but the real ones (see second image of flower next to a ruler, and the post-it note is at the 15" mark), are several inches shorter. So, they're "decent" but not entirely as expected.

The dandelions add an interesting texture to this flower arrangement. They are cute and perky. They make a nice contrast to the pink roses. They were easy to use. You just bend the wires a little bit to spread them out, and put them in the pot. They form a stable base to hold up the other flowers. The greenery makes the arrangement look balanced and pretty.

So adorable, came nearly wrapped in “vintage” newspaper which is sooo cute-I love that idea-so very pretty and well made, love the flower bloom/buds are so real to life look. The leaves themselves at first seemed a bit waxy but, once fluffed looked absolutely beautiful.
