  • Works great very accurate!
Used 3 of the 5 so far and they each worked great! The built in ADC converter is useful for when i use the raspberry pi. If your having problems with them it's probably you not the product! And please read the data sheet they are a little tough to finally set up the programming. Here is some tips #1 If your trying to connect a strain gauge directly to it it won't work it needs to be in a wheatstone bridge config. #2 The chip sleeps after 60 micro seconds so if you plan on using something like a raspberry pi you should use a signal.signal type of command to disable interrupts. Arduino or ESP32 will be a better / easier choice. #3 it calculates the change in resistance for the wires connecting the wheatstone bridge too so if you moving anything around the readings will keep changing. ... show more

  • Arduino
Works great with the Arduino. No luck with Pi. It would give readings but they never changed when I added weight to the load cell. Works as expected with Arduino though. 🤷♂️

  • Missing ground trace requires external jumper
The E- terminal is not connected to ground and therefore these boards will not work unless you apply an external jumper. This wasted a lot of my time trying to figure out. Don’t buy, save your money.

  • Yup Needs a jumper on pin 15 for faster sampling
Faster sampling rate mod wasn't too hard. Pick to scratch of the trace. Clip and tin the resistor lead. And a good fine point soldering iron.

  • Works well
Worked perfectly as advertised. Great value!

  • Caution! Does not support 80 SPS as advertised.
This product was advertised as supporting 80 SPS but to do that you need to pry up pin 15 from the board and solder a 10K pull-up resistor across pin 15 and VCC. Since it is a tiny chip this requires surgical precision and is a half-you know what solution. It does work fine with 10 SPS.
