SUMMARY 3.5-stars -- No issues found; compared 3 products from different sellers and they were nearly identical BACKGROUND I am in the process of modifying my wife's car so that it can utilize a donut-type spare tire from a different vehicle that has a slightly different wheel bolt pattern (5x112 vs 5x114.3). The manufacturer of her vehicle (Honda) cluelessly thought that cars did not need a spare tire and a small air-compressor with some sort of fix-a-flat liquid in it would be an acceptable substitute. Having had flats where even tire repair shops could not fit it, I knew that their solution was wishful thinking at best. My solution for this was to get a wheel spacer / adapter that would go from the Honda's bolt pattern to the spare tire's bolt pattern, but I could not find one. Because the bold patterns are so close though, I discovered that there are manufacturers who make "wobble bolts" for this problem, but that is only for cars that take lug *bolts*, not lug *nuts*. After thinking about it a bit, I decided that I could probably create a similar thing using a slightly over-sized conical washer that would seat correctly in the new wheel while using a lug stud that was the same size expected by the new wheel. The new lug nuts could be reversed so that the flat portion was either mating with the conical washer or a thick flat washer of the appropriate size could be placed between the conical washer and the inverted lug nut. I could not find wheel spacers that had M12x1.5 wheel studs in them though. So, I got some that had M14x1.5 (like what is on the Honda) and decided to replace the wheel studs with ones threaded for M12x1.5. I could not find one seller providing 20 of them though. One seller had 10 in a pack and the other sellers had them 5 per pack. The prices varied and the claimed overall lengths were within 1mm of each other, so I decided to agree to review three of them and compare them against each other. INITIAL OBSERVATIONS It appears to be manufactured acceptably. I did not notice any obvious defects during the initial examination of the product. COMPLAINTS / ISSUES None at this time, but I will revisit this review if I discover are any issues in the future. IMPRESSIONS Of the three products from three different sellers, it would be extremely difficult to tell them apart, even sitting right next to each other. On one of the packages, the knurled shaft was very slightly shorter than the other two. I would say 1/32" at the very most -- you would not notice it unless you had them side by side and even then, it is difficult. That's not enough of a difference to affect the functuality of the product. The threads on all three products looked acceptable and when I threaded a known good lug nut onto each of the products, I could not find any issues with how the threads were cut (or rolled). I tried this on all the wheel studs and none of them had an issue. CONCLUSION All three of these products seem perfectly acceptable and they are so consistent that I would not be surprised if they were all made by the same manufacturer and being resold by various vendors on Amazon. I can see no reason to not recommend any of these products. I was hoping to find some differences so that I could recommend one seller over another, but I can't. If you need wheel lug bolts in this size, any of these would have been perfectly acceptable.
