  • Looks great!
It was easy to assemble and mount. You will need to abviously drill holes on your trunk. Aslong as you know how to uses a tape measurement you should be good. If not seek professional help

  • The ABS plastic is not stiff enough
I found that the best way to stiffen the wing without adding much weight, is to drill small holes in the bottom or on the ends under the endgates and spray expansion foam inside, til completely filled. It stiffened the wing as much as 50-70% more than beforehand. The ambient temperature plays a roll in how stiff the ABS is. You may notice it flexing and bouncing outboard of the mounts. Spray foam worked extremely well to remedy this, and prevents the ABS from becoming more pliable in warmer air temperatures. The mounting brackets require drilling and bolting them in place. I used 4 cotter pins to secure the struts to the mounts, so as to be able to, easily remove the wing without tools. This is for gas mileage and a more conservative appearance...(as intimidated Dodge drivers, may want to road rage you, or try to prove they are better than you, because your "wing" is bigger than theirs. You dodge drivers...get over yourselves! Dodge sucks! Get a real car without training wheels, and stop road raging my Subaru Sedan! Yes, it's a Spec B Legacy 3.6R. No!, I don't want to prove it to you. Leave me alone!!!) The wing does significantly increase drag, and is a trade off between mileage and negligible performance gained below highway speeds. (Basically, think about it like an airplane wng. It won't produce enough lift to take off, until around 60-80mph. So, on the interstate in the rain, is about the only way you'll have a measurable performance gain. The cotter pins also allowed me to do some testing with and without the wing, to be able to measure any performance gained and mileage loss. If done right, there is zero play in the mounts. The performance gained is not noticeable below highway speeds. It did provide a noticeable increase in traction on the highway, in bad weather/rain, snow, sleet and slush. Basically, it's just for looks below 70 mph. Just remove the trash and any extra weight in your car, to achieve the same effect, up to, highway speeds. The trade off in mileage/performance in bad weather, is 2-3mpg less than your normal highway mileage. Just spend the extra money on a nice new set of all weather tires, for an even better result than having a wing. If it's for looks, it may need some finishing touches to prevent it from appearing cheap and kiddie toyish. Just get a carbon fiber kit and wrap it, to stiffen and improve the finished appearance. You may want to use the excess carbon fiber to custom shape some end gates and replace the kiddie toy appearance of the ABS ones? Value for money - 3 Look - 3 Fit - 4 Function: 1-5 scale Cornering - 45-60mph: - 0 70mph: + 1 80+ mph: + 3 ( as a general rule of thumb in basic aeronautics..."As speed doubles, lift quadruples". Flip that wing upside down and apply that to downforce in lbs. vertical without weight laterally during cornering.) Bad weather stability: 45mph - 0 50-70mph + 2 70+mph(If you're dumb enough to drive like that in the rain...) + 3 Braking: (No noticeable performance gain.) just spend the money on new brakes, if braking is a desire. (on a 270 deg. off ramp, you could max at 50-55mph, before the install, you may be able to take at 57-59mph. Afterwards. Just get new tires instead. (Just an example. Don't go thinking a wing makes your car faster. Get advanced driving lessons from a pro driver on a track day, if you want to be able to extract the best from what you drive.) (The only noticeable gain, is hunkered down stability at or above highway speeds, which are only legal on track days. Let's be real, it's a toy. If you like looking at a wing on your car, enjoy.) (If street performance is your goal, buy new tires and brakes, and pay for track day driving lessons.) ... show more

  • Wing is very weak and shakes
This wing looks amazing. The figment was perfect for my 350z. The problem is that it’s really flimsy. It shakes up and down like a bird flapping its wings. I’ve had it on my car for a few months now and it has cracked almost all the way around. It’s about to fly off in a couple days and hit someone’s windshield. I have no choice but to remove it and buy another one. Sad because I really like the wing other than that. ... show more
