You can see a big difference between quality cotton and bamboo or microfiber sheets. These sheet sets deliver exactly what we expected. Quality cotton and dyes offer a shimmer that can’t be replicated with other materials. The sheets are soft but know they will only get softer as time goes on. I purchased another set and knew what to expect with these. The fitted base sheets offer an extra couple inches to securely wrap under the mattress spite it having an additional gel pad on top. They still fit snuggly and to my surprise. This is the main reason for the review. After our first night of solid rest in awhile with these sheets , I can attest to their comfort. Next set I’m wanting more thread count. Perhaps 1200 or more. If Mayfair provides this as well , then I will be coming back for them but in a different color. These sheets are nice and soft. Delivery was timely. Specifics: BOTTOM SHEET is quite deep. My mattress is 15” and the sheets are an easy fit with room to spare. I have laundered them several times, and they did not shrink, however be advised, I never put cotton sheets in the dryer. PILLOW CASES fit a queen size pillow well. TOP SHEET has a good length, but seems a bit narrow. COLOR on my computer screen looks like white with a hint of color. When they arrived, they were a true seafoam. Seafoam can be more blue or green, right? This color is a titch more green. WEIGHT: these are on the lighter side of a medium weight. Great in a warm climate. UPDATE The seller contacted me to make the purchase of the defective sheets right. They offered my money back or replacement sheets. I chose replacement sheets. I’m very pleased to say the gray striped sheets had no fading or color loss/change issues upon washing. They were thick and soft like the set I experienced the color issue with. Since this company stands behind their product and is willing to make the purchase right with a refund or replacement if you receive a defective set I do now recommend them. The sheets are truly 100% cotton, thick, soft, and well made. I will post pictures of the new sheets when I put them on my bed. I washed them immediately after receiving them to see if they were going to have the same issue. REVIEW FOR ORIGINAL ORDER These sheets are the worst I've ever purchased. I washed them one time, followed the washing directions exactly, and now the sheets are aesthetically unusable. The extreme washed out or discolored spots cover the majority of the sheets and pillow cases. It looks like they have been bleached, but I only used a mild laundry detergent that is safe for colors. Whatever dye process was used on the sheets was inadequate to say the least. The sheets truly look awful now. I've never experienced this with any colored sheets I've owned. Structurally the sheets are fine. They are thick and 100% cotton. Sadly that's not enough to make me use them. I regret purchasing these sheets. ... show more

I bought these pillow cases a few days ago, and sent the following note back to the supplier - my email to them helps explain the mixed reviews: A little feedback about the pillow cases we recently ordered. I ordered 10 sets (20 total pillow cases) - which is kind of a lot, but I wanted a good "stock pile" of matching, white pillow cases and just decided to buy them all at once. I chose your pillow cases because they were 100% cotton, had mostly favorable reviews on Amazon (though some reviews were not great), and seemed to be a reasonable price (not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive). When I got them, I immediately washed them all. Then, I ironed all of them, so it forced me to really look closely at each individual pillow case. To be honest, the results are mixed and I think it probably comes down to a quality control issue. There was one pillow case with light grey/light brown stains on the fabric - not sure how that happened since the rest of the pillow cases are all clean. [Some of the pillow cases had a few bits of colored thread (dark green in color, or black) on the inside of the pillow case - wonder if the thread "bled" color onto the one case with the stains.] Some of the pillow cases are made with two pieces of fabric, so there are two seams on the case while other cases are made with one piece of fabric and only have one seam. Some of the pillow cases are made with a very luxurious feeling fabric - thickish and sturdy - while others are noticeably thinner and feel like they are of lesser quality. Overall, my feedback is that they are not great, but serviceable. I'm not sending them back because they are "good enough" and I don't want the hassle of sending back the ones that aren't as good as some of the other ones. But, I now understand why some of your customers gave these 5 stars, and others were very disappointed. You might have different manufacturers or sources for your pillow cases and this might account for the differences. Anyway, I thought you might want to know about my experience.
