These bags are fine and for the price I guess I wouldn't expect much better. They are quite thin which was actually good for my purpose, I am using them as gift bags for an outdoor party at night so I'm putting small LED lights inside the bags so they light up. The light shows well through the thin paper. BUT... on many of the bags, the glue holding the bottom of the bags together leaked onto the side of the bag that was folded over onto it, so the bags were stuck closed and although I could still open them very carefully, the stuck bits became torn. They didn't tear completely through, but it substantially weakened the parts that were stuck and I wouldn't trust the bags to hold anything with much weight since the paper is thin to begin with. The bags that were not stuck shut are fine though. I didn't open all the bags, but of the 25 I opened 5 had that problem. So... bottom line is they are just OK because of the unusable bags. ... show more

I bought these for welcome bags for my wedding. We had no issue with ripping during transport to hotels, filling with LOTS of goodies (water bottle, bag of chips, big cookie, small candy, and little bag of travel essentials), or moving to and from plastic bins when organizing hotel deliveries. We made 30 bags. I also fixed a bow and tag to the bags. Really happy with how they turned out. Would definitely re-buy if I needed bulk black bags. ... show more

Ordered for an event so I got 150 bags, at least I thought. Due to the number of bags and timeline, I did not count them, but I did count the number of items I was placing in them. Oddly, I had a lot more items than bags. Not sure if one of my packs was not the full set or if all of them are less than 50 despite the description. These were purchased to make fruit bags for a church event. The bags held up well with 4 pieces of fruit in them. None of the bags were defective and we used almost all of the ones ordered. These served us well and will order again.
