Bought this set for my 13 year old daughter for her halloween/Rennisance Faire costume and it's perfect!! She is almost 5ft tall shes petite and the Medium fits her great and still has some room to grow into it. Which is a plus! The armbands were a tad big on her as she has thin arms but can easily find a solution to make them a lil more snug in her arms. The socks it comes with are soft and comfortable according to my daughter but I don't believe they would fit someone with thicker calves but again easy remedy if u need bigger socks. The outfit it self is soft and comfortable according to my daughter and she has sensitive skin and does not cause any irritation as others have described. The ears are good quality but we didn't care much for them as they look a lil awkward on her so she just decided not to wear them. Overall great set and definitely worth the prince. I highly recommend this!!

I am not an XL because of my waist, so I was a little surprised that the waist guard would not stay fastened at all. I even had to re-sew it after the first attempt. The knee high socks are actually pretty comfy and do go just above the knee. The color is accurate and the dress material isn't scratchy like I was expecting. The ears don't really stay on and the bracers really need to be broken in if you're expecting them to sit well. Not bad overall for the price. But have realistic expectations.

For the price, this is a great costume. It fits as expected. I’m 5’10” so, of course, it was a little shorter on me. I wore it with my own heavier leggings so I’d feel more comfortable. The “corset” waist and arm bracers all fit.

The hooded dress is comfortable, constructed fine, and the fabric has a nice texture. The ears are good, the bracers are also good for the price. The stockings are pictures as thigh highs, but are not quite knee high socks though, amd the cancer is not appropriately sized to larger costume sizes. Probably great for small or medium sized, but not so much for XXL. Overall, good value.

This was absolutely perfect for the convention I went to, I got so many complements. Only thing the tights were not as long as expected only came up to my knee when I thought they were thigh high, but otherwise I loved it.

No matter what size your order, the corset will not fit anyone larger than an XS (extra-small). They appear to send a one-sized corset regardless of the size you order. Ordering larger sizes than you typically wear will only result in an over-sized garment and no corset to tie the outfit together. I ordered a 2x plus sized version as a woman who typically wears large and hasn’t yet been a “plus size” thinking it would ensure a corset that fit, only to be left with an oversized garment and a corset that wouldn’t even fit my friends that wear a medium or small! Accessories were cheap and broke after an hour. Also were hard to put on alone. Ears come in only one skin tone and look less realistic than a plastic doll. Braces were good quality but the ties they came with break easier than dental floss and are far too long. Definitely can’t be put on without help and require continuous help from others to maintain necessary touch ups and tightening while wearing even with minimal activity. Cheap, cheap, cheap! The dress was OK in quality. Order your size or the size below (can be adjusted with the cross body laces). Strings from the seams come out easily, like most costumes. But unlike most costumes the material was fitting and comfortable. None of that itchy material that is nice on the outside while plastic on the inside. Nothing glued on. All sewed on with some skill and remains comfortable and warm throughout the night. Wore it in New England and was almost too warm at times! That’s the one positive to this bundle! Want more details? See below! —— A more detailed review of my experience with this product: I’ve always wanted to put a costume together like this one but it typically takes a long time and a small fortune to do so. I thought I hit the jackpot with this find and was willing to spend money I didn’t have to waste, only to be met with extreme disappointment. Regardless of your size the corset will not fit. They use a single size corset, even for the plus sizes. Wasn’t able to get a suitable corset before my Halloween party and endured “What are you supposed to be?” Questions following the humiliation of not being able to fit into a corset that was *allegedly* 2 sizes larger than I am. Do not waste your money. You can do better at home. The corset was my one pull and I was devastated by how tiny it was. I’m had multiple friends try it on only to find that only the American XS could manage to fit in it, although even they said it wasn’t done comfortably. I got the costume two sizes up based on reviews of the sizes and the hope that the corset would fit comfortably. Instead I got an oversized costume with nothing suitable to cinch it. The dress was too long. If I were to do it again I’d get it in the accurate size and purchase a corset elsewhere - but I would never do it again for how high the price was and how TERRIBLE the quality was. I essentially paid more than I intended to spend because I believed it came with quality accessories. Instead I received an oversized product, accessories that even those that fit best ripped within a half hour of adorning them (the laces of the arm pieces), while others were just too small (the corset) or tacky (plastic ears that make Barbie’s skin look more realistic - no option given to match them to your skin tone). I ended up having to attend my party in what costume pieces remained. When asked what my oversized high-low hooded black renaissance dress was I either said “I don’t know.”, “A kind of modest slutty dementor” [from Harry Potter - Belatrix did it better] or more frequently, “a total waste of money!” The arm cuffs appear good quality and ofc can be fitted to whatever you need, but the ties provided are not as quality as they might seem. I had to tie them myself mostly. They loosened throughout the night, forcing me to tighten them myself. One broke when I was first putting them on (but broke in a way that I still had enough slack to tie them). The other side broke while I was dancing. They had too much slack, which I can see as being beneficial for those who are plus-sized, but I also believe that even then they would still have too much slack flopping around. The ties either loosened or stretched with very little activity and retying them resulted in breakage that couldn’t be covered up or mended (at least not without sitting down and restringing the whole thing - but I will say that even that is only temporary as it will surely break again!). The ears were something I had no interest in when buying this product, but even I couldn’t help but notice how cheap they were for how much was spent when they arrived. However, I initially shrugged that thought off, thinking that the braces and corset were what made it worth the money. However, after seeing how poorly made and fitted those were I can’t help but think about those cheap ears when wondering what made this costume worth so much money. I realize it’s a pre-packaged costume but frankly it’s not worth any more than $30, and only after taxes and shipping! Do not waste your money. You’d be better off piecing things together on your own. If you’re determined to wear a corset, buy from a legit vendor and put the rest together through thrifty finds and at home items. Because I’ve tried corsets in all of my weight stages from medically underweight to borderline plus sized, and all have failed. I thought this one would be the exception with the elastic feature and ordering not just two sizes up, but ordering in a plus size, which I am not yet considered, purely for the assurance that the most unpredictable item would fit… only to find myself with items much too large for me and that one piece still too small to fit any adult American woman… it was the ultimate disappointment. Even with the ties to tighten the outfit, the dress was too long and I was left feeling underdressed and exposed as my stomach rolls I’d planned to hide with the corset hung out around these ridiculously tightened laces on my front and back. I had to tie them tightly to fit the garment to me as it was at least 2 sizes too big (maybe even three sizes). It looked like a child wearing their mother’s clothes or shoes! Had I know that the corset would not fit regardless and still intended to purchase this package, I would have probably gone a size down if not my own size. The front of the dress that was supposed to be high and sexy was down to my knees! Long story short, I ordered up in size due to past experience and amazons suggestion to due to reviews saying it runs small. But it’s not the dress that runs small, it’s the accessories that pull the costume together. I would never recommend ordering this at all unless you are petite and aren’t worried about it lasting. Fortunately my party was hosted and primarily attended by LGBQT+ persons assigned male at birth and they HYPED ME UP regardless of this garbage costume. Had I been anywhere else I would have been mortified. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Unless you’re tiny and don’t move much or care about having left elf ears. Then this is the costume for you!

So for reference I’m 5’4 155lbs, 38 bust, 31 waist, and 41 hip. I ordered a size medium and it was much too large. Fit like an L maybe an XL. The arm cuffs are stuff and hard to string through and put on, along with the corset it comes with it’s all off proportionally. Too small of items with a outfit that’s way too large. I wouldn’t buy it if you are similar to my measurements. I went according to size guide and didn’t fit and the material wasn’t great.
