    • Great value, long lasting chew!
Flavor Name: All Natural Size: 50 Count (Pack of 1)
The chew's durability is excellent for my German Shepherd and Mastiff dogs. They love to chew, and this seems to satisfy their need. The taste appeals to them as nothing is left after about 10 minutes. When they digest the rawhide, there are no issues with their process. I would highly recommend this product, as it satisfies the chewers in my home. Lastly, the digestibility has not caused any stomach issues, and I have used this product for over a year now. ... show more

    • Perfect Dog treat
Flavor Name: All Natural Size: 50 Count (Pack of 1)
As the owner of a lab and Great Pyrenees we purchased these weekly. We love these rawhide chews, they are the perfect size for a treat and keep our dogs entertained. If you are looking for something that will last a long time, this might not be the product for you. But for our purposes we absolutely love these and buy them once a month. ... show more

The dog likes them - probably in part due to they are "new" to her. (Her usuals are bully sticks, tracheas, gullets, etc). I will feed them in the rotation until they are gone but I have not decided if I will buy again. Comparatively speaking: 1.) One can buy 5-6" trach at a comparable price - trach is nutritionally superior (as are bully sticks). 2.) Amazon's biggest competitor has a four pack of much larger ones... that you can cut in half with a serrated knife(or I have a handsaw for cutting down large cuts of meat w/ bone in). This gives a much larger, more convenient (in store, small qty) option. Though, as the resulting piece is larger, this option costs a bit more per each. Also, described option is not appropriate for little dogs that could eat one these as the diameter is much larger. See pics. I attached pictures for comparison. The bully stick is 6" std sized from best bully, next to a "frequent" sized one of these(there are smaller in the bag, but not much larger) and the other rawhide is what I speak of. I made a line with a serrated knife to show where I cut. (My dog is ~40 lbs. A full one is a bit much for her.) In the grand scheme, for me, adding some variety is worth adding a nutritionally inferior option into the rotation. There is no appreciable cost savings in rawhide though. Also, when my dog chews the smaller rawhide, she does not pick it apart. She chews it up like a bully stick. The larger rawhide she tends to chew a corner and rip little pieces off and eat it that way - so some variety there too. Conclusion: Nutritionally inferior. Will never be primary 'chew' for dog but worth adding some version for variety for her. Wish I could find more trustworthy source to buy from though. Counterfeit is an issue - anyone can add inventory under someone else's brand (not prevented). ... show more

These chews work for my Dobermans and my mid-sized (50 -60-pound range) mutts. They love the chew, and so do I. Most Chews are devoured in seconds, but these last Minutes. They seem to have no adverse effects.

    • My dog chews everything, but not these
Flavor Name: All Natural Size: 50 Count (Pack of 1)
I was looking for bulk rawhide rolls for my spoiled dog who stares longingly at the place where the rawhide rolls go every time I come home from work. It is normally occupied by an Ol' Roy product from Walmart, but they ran out, and they're pretty expensive anyway, and seem to be of dubious quality. I was looking for something to appeal to my chewy dog's treat desires that came in bulk at a lower cost, preferably not from China. This product has the right price point. The countries of origin are all in South America, which is fine with me. They know cattle in South America. It's not like I expect these to be laced with melamine or genetically modified soy protein or some weird thing. They should be totally fine. However, my dog ignores them, and it's time to just donate the 20 or so I have left to an animal shelter or something. She just doesn't chew on these. She chews on anything and everything, so it's actually pretty weird to find something she doesn't like to chew. That's why I gave one star for flavor. They must taste like bad chemicals or something. I don't know. I didn't try chewing on one. Your mileage may vary. I suggest buying a smaller quantity to try before you get a big pack like I did. If your dog actually likes these, this could represent a pretty good value. ... show more
